It's like I'm carrying the weight of the world
[ So, Yuri's going to be going around, putting up slips of paper for everyone to see, because even with everything that was that trial, he is sure it could help. He doesn't know--it's worked from time to time before anyway and someone should do it. ]

[ Yuri, for once, is going to be making some food for the afterparty that isn't desserts. On his side of things, his food is generally going to be geared towards something more western-style and hearty. In essence, there is some things of curry with beef, chicken, and vegetables in them, take your pick. Sayaka and Kyrie also will be assisting with food, providing stuff that is likely to be geared towards something asian.
This whole set up, of course, is going to be done in the dining hall, since that's where it usually is. ]

[And... Rin takes a couple steps closer. She seems to be considering a motion, only to rethink it. Instead she takes a letter from her sleeve, and presses it into the vampire's chest. Should she check the envelope, Elda will find it's still sealed, and addressed to her.
She'll probably recognize Susan's handwriting as well.]
1/2
[ Is her first thought, once she collects the document and notices the handwriting on the seal. But then she forces the air from her throat and she ... opens the letter, using her long nails as a letter-opener. She draws it out.. and reads ]
no subject
Yes.
She cries again, her hands tightening on it. Win.
Win this.
She folds the letter up with some surprising care, and she ... ah, this lolita dress doesn't have a convenient spot to put it she immediately recognizes. Well, she'll just shove it down her top for now, then. ]

[This is said quietly, and Rin trails off as Elda begins to read.
...If she hadn't opened it up right then and there, Rin probably would have left. If not the room, then just this storage closet. She probably wouldn't get further than the halls, even if she'd intend to. She's too concerned about Elda to leave her alone.
But that decision is made for her, when Elda doesn't even hesitate to open it in front of her. Rin backs up again... Towards the filing cabinet at first, before her foot touches the slick floor. Right, the brandy. She moves over to the opposite wall then, taking her glass back with her. It'll probably be finished by the time Elda has folded the note back up.
She wipes at her eyes, quickly. It's just the fumes, okay?]
no subject
[ the spilled brandy? Apparently, that's something that she's sort of apologizing for? Who knows, man. That said... ]
So what, you keep this up every week? This is clearly recent.
no subject
Though thinking of that, she's going to reach for what's left of her glass and gesture maybe they should leave the room. Elda has a more sensitive nose than her, after all.]
Mm. I've worked on letters since the second week. I tear them up every Wednesday, then start over.
no subject
[ But yes, please, let's get out of there. The spilled brandy is ... well, not too sharp, but it's still irksome. ]

[ she puffs out some air. ]
This time you've got... what, maybe five to write?
no subject
Five, huh. [She slides out of the storage closet, twirling in place as she takes a seat at the nearest stool.] Who would you guess they're for?
no subject
[ She shrugs, but once they're back in the art room, she walks over to her half done painting. A night sky - a hill covered in trees overlooking a small city - more a big town than a city, it's only a fraction the size of Fuyuki let alone real epicenters in Japan. A river off to the right. she sits on a stool near there. ]
And I don't know your life... but at this point. [ Let's see, who does Rin talk with... ] Everyone loves Sayaka. Alex. [ She tilts her head ] Tarrlok. Perhaps that Luca man. And then... I suppose I shan't be blind - myself.
no subject
The priority is wrong, but I do have letters for each of those people.
[Yes, you too, Elda. She admits that easily enough.]
no subject
It's everyone, isn't it?
[ Sheesh, overkill, much?
She can't help but snort at that as she touches up the river a little. Dark blues. ]
no subject
Some of them are more notes than they are letters, to be fair.
no subject
[ She sighs and... ]
... I don't know yet if I'm thankful or annoyed Susan was as morbid. I'm not surprised, though.

[ She says this quietly, and lowers her paintbrush. She reaches down to where she put the note, but then shakes her head and presses her hand over her face. ]
no subject
[Even with Elda covering her face like so, Rin says this. With some assurance, like there's not even a question.]
I'm in this to win, and I don't plan on dying, but I know at the same time it could happen. I don't know if Susan was the same, but that's probably something she thought of too.
You, though. If I acknowledge there's two chances and I'm betting everything on one of them, you bet higher, and like you never thought of the second option in the first place.

That woman was Immortal. She won through losing normally - It- it's given her a very warped sort of mentality.
[ The Immortality is why she had that freak out earlier, when they found her body. ]
no subject
It's at this point, though, she takes a few things from her pockets. Rin slides off her stool, drawing closer to Elda with supplies from the infirmary in her hands. Did she come prepared?]
Sit still; I'm going to clean that cut up. [She dabs a cloth with disinfectant.] You'll get salt in the wound.
no subject
[ But she nods all the same, wiping off her tears and trying to reign in her emotions beyond that. It won't work - of course it won't work - but she's going to try to be cooperative for Rin, at least. ]
no subject
[But she's still careful about it, not making treating the cut worse than it has to be. She seems quite skilled in this, actually. There's a cream as well, to soothe the sting of the injury.]
That's better than it getting infected, though. You don't want to be laid up on Monday.
no subject
[ That said, she does twitch a little from the sting. Still, wow, Rin is so efficient about it, Elda ends up smiling, softly. ]
no subject
[Cream applied, Rin wipes her fingers off on an empty canvas and takes a bandage. Just a small square one, that should cover it well. Medical tape goes over it to keep it in place. Her touch, as well as the look on her face is surprisingly gentle.]
We've got a date in the library on Monday. Be there, or be square.
no subject
I did say that. I did, didn't I?
[ In hale. ]
I owe her more harsh words, but I don't even know what more to say.
