[ So, Yuri's going to be going around, putting up slips of paper for everyone to see, because even with everything that was that trial, he is sure it could help. He doesn't know--it's worked from time to time before anyway and someone should do it. ]



[ Yuri, for once, is going to be making some food for the afterparty that isn't desserts. On his side of things, his food is generally going to be geared towards something more western-style and hearty. In essence, there is some things of curry with beef, chicken, and vegetables in them, take your pick. Sayaka and Kyrie also will be assisting with food, providing stuff that is likely to be geared towards something asian.

This whole set up, of course, is going to be done in the dining hall, since that's where it usually is. ]

I can only imagine--she doesn't strike me as the type who'd immediately go around hugging her killer after she met up with them.

[ Not that Yuri thinks even Estelle would, but. That's not the point. ]

Murderers is listed as a primary dislike. Aligula might not be the only one that needs to watch out.

[Though saying it like this, Rin shivers as if she only now considered what she was saying.]

It's so strange to think all of them are still around.

[hesperos]

I still don't know what to think about that. I kinda expected all of them to already be...whatever it is that happens to people when they die. Not any of that.

How they're keepin' them here is a mystery too.

[Rin nods.]

Ghosts and spirits aren't unusual, but they should have moved on to the afterlife. That they're still trapped in this building like the rest of us is very strange... It probably has something to do with whatever the Coordinators want our souls for.

[hesperos]

Yeah and they have to have their souls anchored to something in order to keep them here.

[ Or whatever - he thinks that's reasonable to assume. ]

I'm guessing they're going to be around until the end of this set up. Makes sense, right?

...probably. But what makes them disappear is another question. Are they freed, or used for something else?

[hesperos]

[ ..... ]

... Maybe used for something else.

From the way Alena held onto that pendant for so long, I agree. But if that's their intent, what are they waiting for?

[hesperos]

My guess is that lines up with 'the conclusion of this set up'. They seem like the kind of people who'd try to do one thing after another, if you know what I mean.

[heritrix]

It's either that, or they can't. [Rin muses this out loud.] Like if they didn't have enough, or if there were other condition to be met first...

[hesperos]

[ Hmm... ]

I think it's most likely to be the latter, knowing these people with their rules and all of that. Then again, I suppose there's nothing sayin' it can't be both.

[heritrix]

Rules aren't in place without a reason, though. There must be something functional to it... And something that demands we kill each other, without their input. They wouldn't have punished Alena so extremely otherwise.

[hesperos]

They're in place here because it's meant to help control people and keep 'em in line.

[ That was said kind of bitterly and probably with a lot less thought than should've been given. But, whatever. ]

...Without them, they wouldn't be able to run this "business" so successfully and get the results they desire.

[ Once again that's simple but that is how Yuri sees it. ]

It's a rule that affects them as much as it does us, Yuri. Rules that control the controllers are the most dangerous kind.

[hesperos]

Yeah, I know.

[ ...He's about to say something but then there's a memory of something else that comes on by. He recalls a certain older man, and then in his hands, a blade--
