For all that's true, for all you do

[ A note goes up on the fridge shortly after Chie signs the chicken petition on Monday: ]

[ Come 6 pm, she has prepared some coffee and tea so people can have something to drink while watching the shenanigans that will happen, as well as hot sauce as penalty for refusing a dare. So come here and have fun, y'all. ]

[...All right, here he goes! Yeah, it's... standing on your toes and making big sweeping motions and why is he so stiff, oh god, did being sick screw him up that badly

...he's still surprisingly graceful but man, you can see him wince every so often...]

...hey, aren't the guys in these supposed to lift someone up, anyway?

[...he hasn't stopped, mind.]
oftheland: (oh was that your mom)

[personal profile] oftheland 2015-11-12 12:43 am (UTC)(link)
...well, if you're okay with it, I'd love to complete this incredibly dignified and artistic performance.
oftheland: so. crass. (carr why do you exist)

[hell yes, we're doing this. does chie weigh more or less than a thirteen years old boy? WHO KNOWS HE CAN PROBABLY LIFT HER NO PROBLEM ANYWAY

...so it's... hips-ish...?]

...apologies if any of this is awkward, I didn't pay that much attention to Swanna Lake...
oftheland: no crimelording here! (why officer i'm completely law-abiding)

[personal profile] oftheland 2015-11-13 01:08 am (UTC)(link)
...I'm guessing so. It's... a white bird with a reputation for being graceful, right?

[...alright, so, gingerly lift her up by hips, then...? right. AND HOLD HER UP LIKE RAFIKI HOLDING UP SIMBA IN THE PYROAR KING. YES. THIS IS BALLET.]
oftheland: no crimelording here! (why officer i'm completely law-abiding)

Ah. Well, I can see it, though they don't have as bad a reputation for that as some other Pokemon...

[you're queen of the world, chie.]
oftheland: (u n s u r e)

[personal profile] oftheland 2015-11-13 07:56 pm (UTC)(link)
...you know, you might want to ask Blue about that, since she actually owns one. I've never had any difficulty with them, though, personally.
oftheland: (gosh do i love rocks)

[personal profile] oftheland 2015-11-14 03:00 am (UTC)(link)
[...oh, right, he should probably set her down before they go whole hog into Pokechat

...right, he'll do that.]

Ah, well, that might take a while, because I do have a lot. Like my profile states, I'm primarily interested in the Ground type, so I tend to train things like Rhydon, Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Golem, Dugtrio... those sorts of things. Are you familiar with them at all...?

I do have several Pokemon outside of that mold, though. They're for more specialized purposes, although I have Beedrill because he's the one I've trained the longest. Cloyster, Crobat, and Aggron were mostly experiments, although Crobat's more for transportation than anything else.
