[Almost as soon as the trial lets out, Tarrlok kind of... tears off to the kitchen, because he's mildly concerned that he's going to experience an adrenaline crash before he even starts cooking, and so he begins! He starts on some tea, marinating some beef for kebabs... but he feels like he's forgetting something...

[okay whew he makes it back to the kitchen. And so does Yuri at some point, actually! So... Tarrlok will be getting kebabs ready for everyone, since he was hungry for them, Yuri confirmed, and Cabanela said he'd have whatever he'd have. Speaking of, Cabanela shows up to make some chicken soup! And Yuri makes curry, teriyaki chicken, and steamed vegetables. So there's a little something for everyone. The food that gets put out isn't super fancy, but it's nice, and there's tea just like Elda wanted.

This is the end of it, you know. They have to be moving to the final stage of their exercise, whatever that is, and we're not going to have another trial like that if I need to tie you all up myself. Next week'll be important.

I agree. I've been doing my best about the dead but... Well, I intend to collect what everyone's amassed about the hidden rooms and the like, what anyone's learned from Alena or Hilda - the long and the short of it is that I've been relying on everyone else.

That's a good idea. We can organize all everyone's findings so we don't end up retreading ground. We don't have the time for it.

Honestly, Elda, we wouldn't have discovered the ghosts if it wasn't for you. I thought you'd proudly take that claim.

Don't think I'm so humble that I refute all of my efforts but... [ She shakes her head ] Blue just happened to tell me she invented something to see ghosts, and that it might be in the machine. I just searched around after that. Anything else's just been trial and error.

[ (though by "just happened to tell me" - she does mean that whisper at the end just before Blue was executed) So it's not like it's something that she needs to puff her chest out over all the time. ]

Rather convenient that it did indeed perform its job spectacularly... I wouldn't have expected her to have invented such a thing, either.

She was a tinkering sort, apparently. Her first instinct back when we all showed up was to go to the storage room and see if she couldn't find tools.

A machine to view spirits, though... I couldn't have imagined that it would be put to use. The Coordinators seem to know about them, too.

A lot of the vending machine things still seem to work, which makes me wonder how some things like that blue crystal ball are supposed to work.
