Week 9.

WEEK 9 With another death to the timer and another double murder - accidental though that last part may have been - your numbers have been cut even further. Hibiki Ganaha, Sayaka Maizono, Alex, and Kyrie Ushiromiya are all dead, bringing those left alive from twelve down to eight. It's almost hard to believe this started with thirty-five people. There are so few of you now. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... It seems that the pattern from last week is holding; there is no new floor to occupy yourselves with. It doesn't seem much else has changed, either - leading to questions that are uncomfortable but must be confronted. Namely, where do you go from here? Is there anything you can do? [ Well then, they can talk but give her another minute or two... And she'll just set down the notepad and then slip off the Silph Scope to hand it off to Luca. Hey, here you go. ]

Luca scans through the notes, reading through them and smiling a little at how much everyone is encouraging them. These will definitely be good notes to share, they should boost everyone's morale a bit.

When he reads Estelle's note, though, he frowns a little. Eventually he does scribble down the first half of the note, which he shoves into his pocket.

Once he's done with that, he turns back to Elda.]

Did you want any of the others copied by me? I think I can manage one or two more.

[spoilers: he's writing with the injured arm.]

[ Oh, she noticed. She watched him go through them, him reacting to them. She... frowns a little when she asks that though and... reaches out to poke the injured arm. ]

Only if this doesn't hurt you.

[Well if it's a gentle poke he won't react too much to it. He's been taking tylenol or whatever trustfell-brand they have there.]

It isn't yet. Trust me, it is pretty obvious when it does start to hurt.

[Because his hand cramps up and he can't move it anymore when that happens.]

Right. Well then why don't you get down Susan's for everyone but us. Those'll go quick enough. I don't so much point in copying Aligula or Kimblee's, they're both for me.

[ Well Kimblee's isn't necessarily explicitly for her. ]

[He wasn't going to write it down anyway, that shit is long.

They're all saying I was too reckless.

I can understand that; plus it's kinda hard to keep track of everything in general.

[ Still, he remembers this one fairly easily, for what may be obvious reasons. ]

When she found that button and it was pushed, it made another hidden door show up in the game room. Of course it was another locked one.

It only seemed that way because I managed to talk her down. [ Which couldn't have seemed possible to anyone at the time. Honestly, Elda wasn't sure she could do it in the moment, even if it seemed to be better than to rush in and do it physically at the time. ]

Kimblee's right to call me out on that as much as the others for your actions.

[matchbreaker]

[ She nods, circling the game room. ]

I've not heard of that one being opened, so that one is missing still, right?

[ Ah, right- ]

Weren't you and the tall one going to look into the file cabinets in the art room again?

[hesperos]

[ He snorts. ]

I figured that might be the case, actually. I said that just to see what your reaction would be.

[ He smirks to himself as he continues to hold out the uniform and gives it another good look. ]

I like to think that, between the two of us, we formed one good idea.

[Because two half-baked ideas make one cake, right?]

The ideas stand in some contradiction to each other though, admittedly. Rideaux's posturing and Rin's insane promises complimented my strategy more. ... Sosofar as one can call it a strategy.

[ ... ]

... I had hoped for something more sentimental from Susan, but I'll hear it from her when this is over.

[bloodbiter]

[She sees the movement out of the corner of her eye and reacts instinctively, holding a hand up to catch the creature in one of her hands.]

Good evening.

[matchbreaker]

[ Ditty turns back into goo here... Hi... ]

And you as well.

[ She hops up onto a chair - not sitting in it as much as crouching on top of it. ]

What, did you learn you lost your war?

[ Like she looks super lost now? Elda has been... well, she didn't get the Alex not yet, did you put it under Elda's door or you still got it in hand? Either way, she's seeing the girl's papers scatter and makes to pick them up now. ]

I think it was more that we were all trying to throw things at her to see what would stick.

[Which did work out in the end, at the very least.]

Susan probably didn't want to get too sentimental, just in case someone else read it first and wrote it down for you.

[He huffs in annoyance, but he won't nag Yuri for it at least.]

What is it, then? It appears to be some kind of uniform, but I am unsure what it is for.

Sentimentality just isn't her nature as well. Perhaps she thought she said what she needed to say in that damned note.

[ She's not even sure if she's talking about Susan or Sayaka now. ]

[bloodbiter]

[...Ah. She sets him carefully on the table where the candles are held, but not close enough that he'll risk tipping one of them over.]

Did you remember something pleasant?

[ Pleasant... Mm ]

No. Not particularly, even if I finally covered the two year gap.

[bloodbiter]

[Oh. She turns from the portraits to face Elda.]

All at once? It must have been disorienting, to say the least.

[Well, at least Luca isn't the only one having problems with that right now.]

Should I copy the notes on to different pages, so each person may take them?

[Slight change of topic gogogo! Maybe it can help Elda to not dwell on it too much.]

Little was eventful until the end.

[ So... shrugs. ]

But yes, all at once. I suppose the rest of it's been over ... perhaps a year? I don't know, near to that.
