Week 10.
For the first time since this all started, no one has died. A solid week has passed without your numbers dropping any and while it might not seem like much, it is a victory. Maybe you really are capable of getting through this without any more deaths. Maybe this past week has reinvigorated you. Maybe there's something you can do. Come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you won't be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've run out of memories to regain. You should be all caught up now. As before, there isn't a new floor at the start of the week; however, you do have what you found on Friday to keep you occupied. The windows outside will never show you daylight; the night seems steady and unending, never ticking over to daylight, and there's a good amount of snowfall that seems to be happening outside. But the indoors is warm, at least. Maybe something will change, if you keep your morale high enough. |

[OOC: Welcome to week ten of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Coordinators, you can do so through private meetings with Hilda!]

SUNDAY

It's hard for Tarrlok not to wake up on Sunday feeling considerably better than he has for quite some time now. Nobody died last week, he didn't have any horrible new memories to deal with... well, how could he. And maybe there was an unpleasant revelation or two, but you know what?
He's not going to spend a lot of time dwelling on that. What he is going to spend a lot of time on is heading into the first library and looking for the literary equivalent of comfort food (aka trashy romance novels), then heading to the kitchen to make himself some tea... and then heading up to the new room to sit in one of those comfortable purple chairs for most of the day. Mostly he's reading, yes, but... occasionally he's just looking out the window, an oddly wistful smile on his face.]
...it really is just like home, isn't it.
new room
[Hi, Tarrlok. Don't mind him joining you in looking out the window.]

[He takes a sip of tea.]
It'd be nice if we had some daylight, but I suppose beggars can't be choosers.

[all of his plants are probably dead, and that's kind of a bummer.]
I'm talking about my home when I was a child, actually.

[ Once you leaf a plant alone for so long, it is bound to wither. ]
So, your original home had buildings like this too?

Oh, so you mean with all the snow and stuff?
[ Yuri turns his gaze towards the scenery again before plopping his bum down on a sofa. ]

[ So given where he normally lives, he doesn't see things like that... ]
What's an aurora look like, anyway?

... Is it because of some magic thing that this happens at all?

I guess one of the 'random things' that happen magical wise would be the stuff with aer krenes.
no subject
Anyhow, I guess I've got to ask you what that is, huh?
no subject
[ ... ]
Aer krenes are just like springs of aer, where aer comes out in large amounts. Aer's just stuff that exists in our world and used commonly to help with casting magic and all of that ... usually through blastia.

...and ah, that makes sense. It's... some kind of spiritual energy, then?
no subject
[ Blizzards, that is. ]
Guess you can call it something like that. It's practically everywhere, so might as well have some spiritual thing going on too.
[ He shrugs -- he's pretty open to these type of things, but he hasn't like...thought about it alot. ]

...
In other words, as far as public appearances go, there is complete radio silence from the Coordinators today.]
Investigation
Rin can be found on the top floor today; like most people, it's drawn her in ever since it was introduced to them. After the party last night she didn't bother cleaning up anything, but sure enough: here it is, spick and span. If Rin has company, she might turn to them.]
Have you ever wondered what cleans this place so flawlessly?
[Well, with that done, she's going to investigate around the room, starting with—the furniture, actually, with a particular focus on anything you can sit on.
Whenever she's done with that, Rin will head back down... At a bit of a slower pace. Namely because on each floor, she stops at every room a body was found in. From the second library, where Alex and Sayaka passed, to the bar. Wow. A lot of people died in the bar. From the incinerator to the ballroom, where Jean was found, and it all began.
Has it really been just two months?]

Maybe the cat?
[ Yuri is joking on this one please do not take him seriously here. ]

The other is using the Silph Scope to check library #1 to see if there's any messages from ghosts new this week. She doesn't fully expect them or anything, but she checks anyway.
And then finally, between those two, she might be found sipping a blood packet in the infirmary and playing with Ditty in there. It's a long, most work oriented day. ]
