[Throughout the day on Monday, everyone still left in the building will find a handwritten invitation delivered to them at some point or another, along with a bonus sheet of paper.

Hey, everyone. It's been quiet around here lately, so let's keep our spirits up and have some fun! The sun might not be shining, but we still have a great view of the stars, and somewhere warm to watch them from. Food and drink will be provided, so just bring yourself (and your bingo sheet!), and we'll enjoy each other's company.

There aren't any decorations upstairs, but there will be food and drink as promised, and lots of variety. Curry, soup and sandwiches, parfaits, homemade potato chips, a cheese plate; Rin went all out. For sweets, there's chocolate chip cookies and a lemon meringue pie, with milk or juice (that looks like it was made from scratch) to wash it down with. Alcohol too, if that's your thing. There's even a bloody mary for Elda, somehow.

As you might guess from the invitation, the bonus piece of paper delivered with the invites is a blank bingo sheet! Whether it's when the invites are delivered or when they come to the party, Rin will give everyone instructions on how to fill it out, and how the game is played.

HUMAN GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER BINGO

1. Fill out the sheet with 24 simple facts about yourself! They should be anything you're comfortable sharing with others, and most importantly they must be true
2. Share sheets with one another! If you have something in common with what's on another person's sheet, you can sign off on that square.
3. Players may sign up to two squares on one another's sheets, but only two! Normally you'd only collect a single signature, but this is a small group.
4. When one row has five signatures horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, that's a BINGO!
5. Whoever has the most BINGOs at the end of the night wins!

That should about cover it. But yeah, it's a game designed for the group to maybe get to know each other a little better. Discussion is encouraged, not just for what you have in common, but what you don't! What's most important is everyone have fun.]

Well, with that done, she'll get her sheet in order, and she goes fro broad. She has some unique things, right? So let's just go broad, because then they'll have to sign it. Some unique, some not unique... and the positioning... She's focusing on that a lot so you might see her fretting about that.

[Rin has a glass cup which she's sipping juice from primly, despite using a silly straw. Mrrrr.]

Most of the ones I have in common with you are depressing.

[There's actually several she could sign as well, though she's trying to narrow it down to just two. She could go with unusual ones, right? Or something Elda doesn't know about.]

[matchbreaker]

... Well I am counting on you for some of these.

[ Do it rin. Sign the sibling thing. Do it. You know you want to.

[Nahhhhhhhhhh.]

Hey now, you can't rig the deck so much.

[Says the person who may or may not have also done her bingo sheet in such a way, but! She's sure she was clever about it! That said, looking at this sheet more she thinks she's come up with a good first pick, and thus she signs "can erase memories".]

I'll do yours next. But isn't the whole strategy here to set up the bingo board right? ... What're we even winning again?

It was a joke! There's a real prize, but it's a secret. The point really is to get to know each other better, so I want people to focus on that for now.

[But she winks.] Still, I'll definitely show you what I can do when we leave here. Though probably not this one.

[She taps the square she just signed as she says this.]

[matchbreaker]

[ elda's gaze falls and she seems to be thinking for a moment. would she want to forget any of this? The moment she had to call Aligula? The moment she found Susan's body? the moment Sayaka died in front of her?

She...

she shakes her head, running her long nails down the end of one of her tails of hair. ]

Oh, certainly not, that wouldn't be at all proper.

[heritrix]

[Rin tilts her head a bit, studying Elda's serious expression.]

Oh, I got one. Have you ever seen a broken window repaired in under thirty seconds?

[matchbreaker]

... Nope! That seems like a weirdly specific spell though! Do you play a lot of baseball?

[heritrix]

—I do! But that's separate from this, and just for fun. [Rin waves her hand.] Glass is one of the first materials any mage in training works with, though. Shirou was impressed with it even if it's the most basic of the basics, so I thought you'd get a kick out of it too.

[matchbreaker]

So magic fixing is basic...? Huh, you'd think that destruction would be easier than creation or repair or whatever. Maybe that's just me though.

[ she... mmm. ]

... You know, that reminds me, I guess I ought to collect all of Sayaka's alchemy nonsense in a folder for when we get out of here. They might not get the chance to come back if Jericho blows up the building or something.

[heritrix]

That's probably a good idea... Even if he doesn't, it might be one of those situations where we have to go before he changes his mind, or some nonsense.

[She should pack accordingly too, in that case...

But for now let's look over a second thing to sign here. There's still a lot of options, but you know what? She's going to go with "has spoken to Hilda".]

[matchbreaker]

[ Oh. ... She should have pegged Rin for someone else who would talk with Hilda, so she nods and just keeps on the topic, holding out her hand to fill out her two on Rin's ]

Precisely. It all depends on how we manage it, but I think it's prudent to prepare to be ready to flee. Actually, if you're our best seamstress with those machines here, the two of us might as well make some satchels, sacks, or bags for everyone.

[heritrix]

It's weird; I wouldn't have even called myself a seamstress before all of this. But sure, I can manage that.

[She'll pass that sheet right over, then.]

So why did you put that one down?

[The Hilda one.]

[matchbreaker]

I'd thought - ... or well, no. I suppose I'd hoped someone else had. Or well, by technicality, everyone else has.

[ Yelled at her when she first appeared, after all. Elda hums though. She circles and then writes her name on the love story thing. If only because she needs to hear Rin's love story. ]

[heritrix]

[Oh boy, that'll be the next thing they talk about, then.]

Honestly, I haven't taken advantage of being able to speak to her as much as I should have, but I like her. In a strange way. [It's hard to explain.] It's easier to carry a conversation with her for me than it was with Alena, at any rate.

[Why hope, she wonders?]

[matchbreaker]

Hah. I should have seen that coming, for you.

[ she taps her fingers on the counter, looking for a good second square. There's the obvious one, but... ]

Sayaka and Alex and others told me that Alena was warm, kind. Hell, Sayaka trusted the woman to give her a haircut over me. [ Which still hurts. ] I never saw that in her... I confess.

[heritrix]

I mean, Alena told me straight out she wasn't a good person, so I took her for her word on that, but it was obvious she didn't like what she was doing here. I guess I have a hard time resonating with people like that.

[There's a thoughtful pause, as Rin watches the snow fall out the window. Is she a cruel person for saying that? It's possible Alena was just doing what she had to, to survive.]

Does Hilda ever talk about her?

[matchbreaker]

Of course. But she'd never bring her up first.

[ That's both not her nature and really... Elda is by definition lesser than her, in the eyes of the other woman. Elda tuts, and she looks it over and then finally, she'll circle that she has one sibling. There, she did it. ]

[heritrix]

[But she would talk about it if asked, huh?]

...Well, there's probably better things I could be asking her about.

[So she'll ignore that second one Elda signed off of for now; she already knows about Sakura, and Rin remembers hearing once about Elda's brother.

Instead she rounds back to the first Elda added her signature to, a little sheepishly. Hoo boy, she should have seen this one coming.]

Should I go first then, or should you?

[matchbreaker]

Oh, I insist you go first.

[ EVERYONE HAS HEARD HER STORY... OR SHOULD... OR WILL... ]
