It's also, like. With robots, I know where, like, I stand or whatever? I know what I'm fighting. Here's it's, just. Who is the Conductor? Am I fighting him? Am I fighting someone else? I don't, like, know and that's demoralizing or whatever.

Right, exactly. And... well, we don't really have access to the Conductor, and at the moment... well, it's not like we can fight him. Our only really obvious option is to fight and kill each other, but... honestly, I'm pretty sure even if there were those among us who would normally be okay with that, they'd want to refuse it out of spite at the moment.
