Week 3.
Two more people are dead. Byakuren Hijiri has been murdered and Undyne has been executed. That brings us up to four deaths and twenty-five remaining Participants. You're doing well. Take all of Saturday to rest and sleep. You've earned it. On Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock. With no more bodies to be discovered, it seems you're safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've remembered something else. Or was that another really bizarre dream? Like last week, there's a new floor to explore. A reward for your efforts, of course. There's something else new, however, and as you approach the foyer you might hear the beautiful sound of... chickens? Chickens. Those are definitely chickens. It looks like Tabby's petition has worked, you have chosen chickens. Perhaps even more important are the rule changes, effective immediately. You might want to take note of them. |

It's still better than what I woke up in. There's a reason I've been wearing the school uniform this whole time.
[SPANDEX AND HEARTS, WOMAN.]
...Actually, I'm almost glad someone intelligent is here. Can we set aside your criticism of my clothes long enough for you to answer a question?
no subject
But I'll answer anything you have for me. Ask away.

Do you know anything about tarot cards?

If I remember right, instead of hearts, clubs, spades, diamonds, it's cups, pentacles, swords and wands. But I couldn't tell you what any of it means.

[He took the card from his pocket and held it up.]
I've been looking through this library for some kind of information on its meaning, but I've found nothing so far.

Well, I wish I could tell you. But I would imagine it's a good thing, isn't it? If you're trying to determine what's in your future and you pull out a card that says The World, I can't imagine it would mean anything less than getting what you want.

['If you take my Stand, The World, you can become the ruler of this world.']
[He'd known what that sentence meant, when he said it in that memory. But now that he was awake, it made hardly any sense. What was a Stand, and what was the significance of this card? For that matter, what was Pucci's own ability? 'To shape people's souls and preserve them'...]
[The more he remembered, the less anything made sense.]
But I can't be certain. [Dio turned the card over in one hand, red-orange eyes narrowed in thought.] I want to find out what it's meant to represent, even if fortune-telling is pointless superstition. I know the phrase itself is something of significance in my memories, and the appearance of this card can't be mere coincidence.
