Week 3.

WEEK 3

Two more people are dead. Byakuren Hijiri has been murdered and Undyne has been executed. That brings us up to four deaths and twenty-five remaining Participants.

You're doing well.

Take all of Saturday to rest and sleep. You've earned it. On Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock. With no more bodies to be discovered, it seems you're safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've remembered something else. Or was that another really bizarre dream?

Like last week, there's a new floor to explore. A reward for your efforts, of course. There's something else new, however, and as you approach the foyer you might hear the beautiful sound of... chickens? Chickens. Those are definitely chickens. It looks like Tabby's petition has worked, you have chosen chickens.

Perhaps even more important are the rule changes, effective immediately. You might want to take note of them.

PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 25

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY

[OOC: Welcome to week three of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins and the coming week's activity check; don't forget to check in to this week's activity check and submit your memory regains as well!

The Letters and Switchboard posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]
crimsonchin: a simple "right or wrong" (This part of me that wants)

You look like you walked out of Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go.
midnightsea: (you're the star of the masquerade)

[personal profile] midnightsea 2015-11-18 06:08 pm (UTC)(link)
[even if he knew what that was...]

It's still better than what I woke up in. There's a reason I've been wearing the school uniform this whole time.

[SPANDEX AND HEARTS, WOMAN.]

...Actually, I'm almost glad someone intelligent is here. Can we set aside your criticism of my clothes long enough for you to answer a question?
crimsonchin: will always be false (And I feel that everything I choose)

[personal profile] crimsonchin 2015-11-18 06:11 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm almost horrified to see...

But I'll answer anything you have for me. Ask away.
midnightsea: (life's a never ending wheel)

[personal profile] midnightsea 2015-11-18 07:35 pm (UTC)(link)
[jesus christ you wear a few feathers and a lot of rhinestones and you never hear the end of it]

Do you know anything about tarot cards?
crimsonchin: finally hit just right (Feel it deepening the rift)

[personal profile] crimsonchin 2015-11-18 07:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Tarot cards? That's a bunch of bullshit fortune-telling crap, isn't it? I know of it, though. It's like a normal deck of cards with different suits, aside from the big ones like The Sun and The Moon, and the weird shit like The Hanged Man...

If I remember right, instead of hearts, clubs, spades, diamonds, it's cups, pentacles, swords and wands. But I couldn't tell you what any of it means.
midnightsea: (oh don't you see what i mean)

[personal profile] midnightsea 2015-11-18 07:58 pm (UTC)(link)
I certainly don't lend much credibility to fortune-telling, myself. But it's beginning to sound as though there's a common thread to my missing memories that may need to be pulled on to see how it unravels.

[He took the card from his pocket and held it up.]

I've been looking through this library for some kind of information on its meaning, but I've found nothing so far.
crimsonchin: science, math I like (So good with numbers)

[personal profile] crimsonchin 2015-11-18 08:25 pm (UTC)(link)
The World...

Well, I wish I could tell you. But I would imagine it's a good thing, isn't it? If you're trying to determine what's in your future and you pull out a card that says The World, I can't imagine it would mean anything less than getting what you want.
midnightsea: (the vision never dies)

[personal profile] midnightsea 2015-11-18 08:45 pm (UTC)(link)
One would think so.

['If you take my Stand, The World, you can become the ruler of this world.']

[He'd known what that sentence meant, when he said it in that memory. But now that he was awake, it made hardly any sense. What was a Stand, and what was the significance of this card? For that matter, what was Pucci's own ability? 'To shape people's souls and preserve them'...]

[The more he remembered, the less anything made sense.]

But I can't be certain. [Dio turned the card over in one hand, red-orange eyes narrowed in thought.] I want to find out what it's meant to represent, even if fortune-telling is pointless superstition. I know the phrase itself is something of significance in my memories, and the appearance of this card can't be mere coincidence.

Perhaps if you can't find an answer here, you can bring it up at the meeting. Or if all else fails, you can always ask the Conductor about it...
midnightsea: (no need to look so afraid)

[personal profile] midnightsea 2015-11-18 09:11 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm not about to ask him, and there's no reason to sidetrack our efforts to get out of here with questions I can surely answer upon our escape.
crimsonchin: so I despise (But I'm terrible with kanji)

[personal profile] crimsonchin 2015-11-19 12:36 am (UTC)(link)
You speak as if it's going to be the most cohesive and straight-forward meeting out there that won't be bogged down with petitions...
midnightsea: (some light can never be seen)

[personal profile] midnightsea 2015-11-19 01:47 am (UTC)(link)
I can hope at least.
crimsonchin: is nonfiction (This I know)

[personal profile] crimsonchin 2015-11-19 01:49 am (UTC)(link)
Fingers crossed.
