Party time? Party time.
[ Enough of this. Enough Tuesdays being total crap, enough of everything sucking. The Conductor had given them a bar stocked with alcohol, they practically had a responsibility to use it to the fullest. For their own satisfaction and to pour one out, as it were, if not literally because that would be disgusting indoors.

[ ...That was kind of a lot to write out over and over again, but hopefully it'd be worth it. ]
[ ooc: treat this like you would a trial or resistance meeting, by which I mean go forth and threadjack all over. ]

We've got a bar, let's use it. Even if it's just for tonight, we deserve a break! Will start 8PM. Many drinks! Don't come if you think you're too young!!

She'll be moving around the room a lot for that same reason, asking anyone who doesn't look like they're having enough fun one very important question: ]
Hey! What's your favorite drinking game?
[ Much later in the evening, Youko will have retreated to one of the tables away from the bar. She's not drunk--! just reeeeeally tipsy. She needed to find out how much alcohol her human form turned ordinary could take, you know? ]
no subject
Good evening. How are you doing?
[Another week, another incentive. At least this one isn't quite as bad.]

[ Oh, her favorite person showed up! And of his own volition! Youko is pleased as punch and she looks it. Enjoy the bright, genuine smile, Sovereign. ]
I'm so glad you came. I would have missed you if you hadn't.
[ The bar was fine for drinking alone, but a table would be much comfier and cozier. With that in mind, Youko hops off her stool, heels hitting the floor. ]
What's your favorite drink? Let's take some and this sake and move to a table. Hey, do they have sake in Albion?
[ This isn't CROQUETTES 2.0, but she does look pretty excited about the possibility of getting to introduce him to the drink. ]

[He'll follow, of course! The table is certainly more comfortable than the bar and once he's settled he props an elbow on the table, leaning his chin against his hand.]
I don't usually drink, but I've found it's nearly impossible for me to sleep lately, so...
[he's making up for lost time]

[ She's like a '6' when ideally she should be a '4' in terms of energy here, but hey! Graceside could do with more excess cheer!
...Logan's reveal doesn't get a response any sensible person would have hoped for, however. ]
What?! [ Status: internally wailing. ] That's such a good idea! I can't believe I didn't think of it the moment we got the bar!
[ ...yeah. ]

[He actually got a couple of hours on Sunday! ...That was all he could manage and that wasn't going to work.]
It's certainly been... interesting.
[Dear god, he's a mess.]
no subject
Hmm~ Would you be opposed to my joining you from time to time? I know it's just to sleep, but we could have so much fun! And goodness knows we need more of that.

[Mostly because it will make them less appealing targets, even if they do go past their limits.]

He looks like a good kid, sure. But by god if he's gonna sneak a beer or two (or three, or four...) because shit, if you're in a place where you're watching people die every week, why not? He might not be around the next day, so he's going to get shitfaced while he can. It was kind of hard to sneak the booze without Barkeep noticing, but it was possible.
Marty takes a seat next to her, eyes half lidded. It is way too obvious he's going to be sick next morning. ]
Howzit goin'?

Wonderfully! And yourself?
no subject
Ahhh, Never Have I Ever is a classic. Do you know that one?

[ Youko gets ENTHUSIASTIC after a couple of drinks, surprise ]

Marty loved the idea of a bat party. Not because he had a chance to get some free beer (although that was a big part of it), but because it was a break. People were dying, others were killed right in front of him, Jesus. There was enough mental scaring to last a lifetime. The opportunity to relax for once wasn't something he was about to pass up. Too bad he didn't have a guitar or something, else he would play some stuff.
He walks on into the bar and reaches for a fridge, helping himself to a beer. Age be damned! ]

[ pauuuuuuse] If I lived in Italy this would be perfectly legal. Right?
no subject
[Yoink. He's going to take the bottle out of your hand, Marty.]
no subject
We all have different laws to begin with, so anything else is just silly.
no subject
But anyone younger than him, I'm barring a alcohol. There's a reason why these kinda laws exist in the first place, and that is to keep the young folks safe.

Look, I'll make you some carbonated drinks and alcohol-free cocktails. Don't you start this habit early!

Somewhere.

That...is an odd thought sometimes, but she doesn't want to die like this.
She spends most of the night lingering off to the side of the gathering with a glass of wine. She even got a bottle so she wouldn't have to run up to the bar whenever she needed a refill - though she isn't going to get drunk. That's just a bad idea.]
no subject
[But it was night, he was awake, and this place was just boring when he was left to his own devices. Actually writing in the journal currently hidden in his jacket only took up so much time, and so Dio decided he'd at least spend a few minutes there.]
[Who knew? Maybe he'd get lucky and Rick would get drunk enough that no one would care if he punched him.]
no subject
[So, he's gonna leave with a generic cup in his hand, still filled to the brim with some sort of alcoholic beverage. This might be the first time anybody's actually seen him leaving the bar this week.]
F-fuck this shit, I'm out.
no subject
[ he grins a sloppy smile. ] Stay for a bit wouldja?

[The sheer lack of care put into Rick's drink is infuriating. Oh my god, you do not do things like that!]
