The week has been relatively quiet after the utter debacle that was the previous weekend's trial; access to the fourth floor has generally ensured that no one has any excuse to not keep themselves entertained in one way or another, whether by way of games or by way of copious amounts of alcohol. Of course, that doesn't change the fact that this week's incentive came with a three-day limit this time – something that doesn't seem too geared toward discouraging the pattern that Fridays have fallen into around here. Thankfully, however, there are once again no bodies in the ballroom; it seems everyone has learned a lesson and decided to leave that place alone for the time being. But anybody heading upstairs beyond a certain point is going to have an...interesting time, let's put it that way. >Explore?

well, since she's discovered where a lot of it's concentrated by this point, let's go with placing a hand in front of her nose and mouth so that she looks all delicate and ladylike. it also conveniently hides them from sight.

time to peer at a dead child's hair and see if anything catches her eye. ]

[Nothing too weird about her hair itself! Other than, you know, smelling kinda like perfume. There's nothing visibly off.]

[Some of it's a little bit damp, but it's not saturated or anything. More like the perfume may have gotten smeared in somehow, as opposed to dripped onto her head.

Well, while we're over here in corpse-smelling hell, it's probably notable that it's brown and smells like chocolate.]

but that's... hmm. youko makes a mental note of it, assuming it's important information for helping to form the timeline + getting an idea of WHEN luna died. seeing as the kitchen is not open 24/7.

...even if she could have done without the reminder of ashley's trial. there aren't many variations of drinking chocolate, after all.

luna never struck youko as a particularly messy girl, though. is this the residue of chocolate contentment from a nice chocolate drink, or the residue of 'I choked on this and/or otherwise found myself rudely interrupted while drinking this'? ]
