Fourth.
| The week has been relatively quiet after the utter debacle that was the previous weekend's trial; access to the fourth floor has generally ensured that no one has any excuse to not keep themselves entertained in one way or another, whether by way of games or by way of copious amounts of alcohol. Of course, that doesn't change the fact that this week's incentive came with a three-day limit this time β something that doesn't seem too geared toward discouraging the pattern that Fridays have fallen into around here. Thankfully, however, there are once again no bodies in the ballroom; it seems everyone has learned a lesson and decided to leave that place alone for the time being. But anybody heading upstairs beyond a certain point is going to have an...interesting time, let's put it that way. >Explore? |

What's weird with it? Is it clean? Is something missing where something should be?]

But you know what, she's just going to pull it off the shelf. It's probably nothing, but she'll be holding onto this.
Unless, of course, she finds something when she opens it.]

Let's see what we've got. She'll turn to that page.]

Arsenic - A classic poison, and certainly the best known of all. The absence of smell and taste has made ββit a perfect tool for murder. It's most often found in groundwater, many chemicals, and foods. Symptoms include hair loss, burning esophageal pain, vomiting, bloody diarrhea, and eventually leads to death from multi-system organ failure. The poisoning can occur over a period of time if the victim is regularly given small doses.
Methanol - Methyl alcohol is distilled from fermented wood in the same way ethyl alcohol is distilled from fermented grain, so you may know it as wood alcohol. It can be found in antifreeze, some perfumes, paint removers, and varnish. Symptoms include fatigue, headaches, nausea, severe abdominal pain, blindness, and death occurs from respiratory failure.
...Have fun.]

...After what happened to Ashley, even Mordecai is suspicious. So if we're done with this book, she's just going to take it off the shelf. Is there anything else to notice?]

[And that's the truth so far.]
It's...it's Luna, you know. Has Sol been through here?

[It's an inevitable and sad truth.]

[She interrupts with that.]
I think I'm gonna try to read some of it before the trial. I don't want to be useless this time...maybe I'll learn somethin'.
[She's not even going to mention the dust, sorry.]

See if you can find somethin' related to how Luna died. It might help us who ain't doctors figure out what happened.

[But someone from Mars...who also works in a bar...would they know about chemicals? Wouldn't they? Hibiki isn't sure.
But she's not going to let anyone mess with this.]
I will! But first, I'm gonna go find Sol! I'm countin' on ya to find evidence, okay?
no subject
[Even if Hibki found everything they needed, he has to be careful.]

[And with that, she's running out of there.]
