Looks like this will be a weekly thing
[This whole week has been awful. This whole experience has been awful. Mordecai wants to go straight to his room and deal with his frustrations, but that's not what a mayor does. A mayor takes charge, a mayor fixes what's wrong, a mayor makes things better. Even if he can't do everything on his own, he's has to do something.
Two hours after the end of the trial, the living will find another note slipped underneath their doors.]
There's cookies in the kitchen. The dining room is ready for anyone who needs a quiet place to talk it out. I'll be in the bar if you need a drink, alcoholic or something more appropriate for the underage crowd.
-Mordecai Benmont Jiminy
[There's a pile of warm chocolate chip cookies in the kitchen. Two more candles are lit at the memorial - one for the victim, one for the culprit - and Mordecai has left a pile of blankets from the storage room on one of the dining room tables.]

Luna's gone. Luna's dead. Even if Sol survives all this shit and gets to go home - Nothing's ever going to be all right ever again.
Later on in the evening (like, pretty late in the "why are you out and about now, Sol" timeframe), though, if you don't try to bother her at her room? She can be found outside Luna's door, key in hand, clearly trying to force herself to enter but equally clearly uncertain if she wants to just now, biting her lip. She's changed back into her track shorts, though she threw on a ridiculous shirt over the top instead of her usual jacket... ]

Sol -
I am so sorry. I can only imagine how you must be feeling. If you need anything at all, I promise I'll do my best to help.

How are you holding up?

So it's dangerous, but he's taking a walk anyway. He needs to do something to blow off steam.
He's a little taken aback to see Sol just standing there, but it only takes him a moment to understand why. He hesitates, considers passing her by outright, but then: ]
Sol...?

She jumps a little at the sound of another person's voice, clearly not having been paying attention. ]
Oh, Jean, I - hey.
no subject
[ Well, this is already awkward. Jean is silent for a moment before he takes a stab at actually communicating. ]
This is Luna's room, right?

That looks really good on you, you know!
[...Alright, cut the shit, Blue.]
You don't have to go in alone if you don't want to.
no subject
...You'll go in with me? [ That's a relief. Honestly, this isn't something she wants to do alone. ]
no subject
[That, and, well. Now that Sol's out alone at night, she doesn't really want to let her out of her sight.]
I'll be right here, okay?

Sol
I'm so sorry about Luna. I'm sure that having a family member and losing them is worse then never knowing they existed. So, I want to help somehow.
- Rakka

It's Rakka, though, so she reaches up, opens the door. Calls out. ]
...Angel, wait.

But then she hears the door open, and she looks back. Sol may just be able to see Rakka smile.]
Sol...! I...
[She's so sorry.]

Hey, Sol. Can I come in?
no subject
...yeah, her eyes are definitely red. Who can blame her? It looks like the room behind her is a disaster, too, but she wordlessly opens the door and stands aside to let Yuuri in. While her room is pretty cluttered in the sense that she doesn't seem to feel a need to tidy things - her bed isn't even made - it's not like she's throwing things everywhere for the hell of it - at least, not usually. The desk chair is on its side as though she kicked it over, which she...you know, did.
There are even some decorations. Some toys are on the desk, from the machine, as well as a jar of star sand...that sort of thing. Pinned above the desk is more weirdly a sheet of paper with several cross outs that seem to be done at different times; the end result that is the only thing not scribbled out currently reads 6,084,240. ]
Hey.
no subject
Since he doesn't want Sol to feel like he's examining every little thing in her room, Yuuri tries not to pay attention to much else. Although, he does notice the paper above her desk, but doesn't do more than give it a small glance.
There's a small pause, since he has no idea what to say. What do you even tell someone who just lost their twin? ]
...If there's anything you want to talk about, you can tell me. [ He doesn't want to bring up her sister right off the bat, not when she might not even want to talk about it at all. Normally Yuuri just goes with the first thoughts to pass through his mind, but he knows he should be careful with his words for now. ]

Still, after a few minutes, she comes to open the door, holding it open a crack to see who it was and then opening it more fully. ]
Hey. ...What's up?
[ Her voice is hoarse, like she's been crying. SHE...SHE PROBABLY HAS BEEN... ]
no subject
Mordecai steps in and holds out the small plate holding the hot cup.]
You really need this. [Her throat must hurt something awful from all that crying.] Honey's good for the voice.

Plus, even if the situation isn't the same... yeah. Yeah... yeah. Maybe he could prevent a meltdown if she got to talk with someone else who lost a family member, albeit in a more temporary way.
So let's... slip a note under the door, shall we...]
Sol,
Sorry if I got a little over the top with the theorizing there. I guess what's going on with you reminded me of something... kind of similar that happened to me, so it struck a little bit of a nerve.
If you want to talk about it... or if you don't, that's fine. I get it. But if you're feeling hungry later on, I could probably save you a few of Mordecai's cookies.
Just take care of yourself as best you can, alright? It's tough, but it's definitely possible to pull through, no matter how horrible things seem right now.

Old man,
I'm not angry with you. If you want to talk, find me whenever, and if you want to save me cookies...that's fine, too.
Luna'd be pissed if I followed her, so I'll do my best.
-Sol
[ ...UNFORTUNATELY, HER HANDWRITING IS STILL PRETTY HIT OR MISS, TAKE MORE TIME ON YOUR LETTERS, CHILD ]

...I did save you some cookies, though, just in case.

Sol,
I can only imagine what you are going through right now.
I'm truly sorry for your loss. I'll do whatever I can to help you
-Cabanela

Old man,
I don't know what would help. If you want to talk anytime, I still want to get everyone out of here, though.
-Sol

There's absolutely nothing he can say, but maybe she'll appreciate the company right now, if only for a few minutes.]
It's Cabanela.
