[This whole week has been awful. This whole experience has been awful. Mordecai wants to go straight to his room and deal with his frustrations, but that's not what a mayor does. A mayor takes charge, a mayor fixes what's wrong, a mayor makes things better. Even if he can't do everything on his own, he's has to do something.

Two hours after the end of the trial, the living will find another note slipped underneath their doors.]

There's cookies in the kitchen. The dining room is ready for anyone who needs a quiet place to talk it out. I'll be in the bar if you need a drink, alcoholic or something more appropriate for the underage crowd.

Blue said that I'm playin' with everyone's lives...all because I didn't really understand what I was lookin' at. It really hurt! I'm tryin' to look out for a lot of people. You, Ashworth-san, Morty, Sol, Yuuri...there are so many people here I wanna keep seeing.

Blue wears sapient lingerie and thinks neon green is a colour for everyday wear. I doubt she understands anything she looks at.

Huh? No, I...I haven't heard anythin' about that.

There are so many conversations goin' on at once in there! It's kinda hard to hear everything.

She said that our traits...like Gilded and Vivacious...they remind him of his coworkers or somethin'! What's this about a god?

She told me he was working for one, or he thinks he is. But then she got confused, said there was only one god when I asked which one. It's probably just some local god we wouldn't know, anyway.

Yeah, there are all sorts of gods, huh? I really doubt he's Christian or somethin' like that...I don't think mass kidnapping is a Christmas tradition.

[And she only knows about God and Japanese deities, so...]

So he thinks he's workin' for someone like that? Aren't those people...dangerous?

This entire situation is. It might help to know, though. I wonder about a lot of things in this.

What's Christmas? Something religious from your world?

That's right. It's a major religious holiday for a lot of people! But for Japanese people like me, we just buy cakes and enjoy the winter with someone special.

[But she's not an expert on religion, just the bare basics.]

But I mean, if someone says "someone else is makin' me do this" or "I'm doin' this for a god!" doesn't that sound even crazier? I dunno if gods are even real or not!

I'm sure they must be, but I haven't seen any. They say they don't appear to people all that often, and I certainly haven't heard of any who'd do all this.
