Induction.
| You've all had some time to get to know each other; whether or not you're all getting along is another matter. Either way, one thought pattern seems to be pretty prevalent, no matter what you think of this entire situation – Where, exactly, is the Conductor? That question isn't going to be answered in full, even now; if you were hoping to work out exactly who the Conductor is...well, that's not going to be readily answered, either. What you are going to get, however, is the sound of that public address box mounted into the wall somewhere above your heads crackling to life; it's staticky and a little grating at first, like someone's fiddling with the volume control somewhere, but eventually it clears up. "Ah, is it..?" It's a little uncertain at first, but that, too, clears up soon enough; it's a male voice, at least that much is discernible. "Greetings to the lot of you, the new class at Graceside Academy; I trust you've familiarized yourself with the rules. "You can call me the Conductor." |
[OOC: You can be heard just fine through the PA system, so feel free to ask any questions your little heart desires; brackets are fine, you don't need to use prose!]

["Ardent" could mean many things, after all. It's vague enough when it comes to him that he doesn't see the problem.]
I have another question: When I woke up here, I awoke with a handful of cracked ribs and a broken arm. What could have caused such a thing?
no subject
I don't know.
no subject
[For what it's worth, that's said more (falsely) cheerfully than it is like a tantrum.]
You wouldn't happen to have supplies around anywhere so I can take care of this, would you?
no subject
I'm assuming that you aren't going to die by morning?
no subject
There were a handful of people willing to help me out when I first woke up, though I wouldn't mind having some sort of backup.
no subject
You have my apologies for the oversight.

[It really is one, but he's trying to do this whole.... not yell at the disembodied voice thing.]
no subject
[WHY DID YOU LET HIM DRAG YOU AROUND WHAT THE HELL]
no subject
I'm still not clear on how it happened.
[#YOLO, Logan. #YOLO.]

[He has no idea how to set a broken arm. The last time he was injured like that someone else patched him up.]

I figure with the correct supplies, she should be able to help me out.
[It just means sleeping is going to suck. No big deal.]
no subject
[That's the most awkward, stilted apology, but he tried.]
no subject
Don't worry about it, maaan. If I didn't want to do it, I wouldn't have followed you.
[Apology accepted, but you don't have to be so awkward!]

[Broken ribs suck so badly, dear god.]

[With any luck, the Conductor will give him some painkillers, dear god.]
