[Well, that sure did happen.

Logan is dead, and for once the rest of the students were all there to bear witness. After that, does anybody really want to lie alone in their dark bedrooms all night?

Of course not. That's why people are gathering in the dining hall. It's still dark, but the room is lit with a hastily-assembled host of candles, mostly forming a protective half-circle around the far corner of the room. There's also at least one garbage-can fire, courtesy of Sukuyo. Will that be enough to keep the shadows at bay? Only one way to find out...

There's pillows and blankets too, but try not to fall asleep out here. Keep an eye out for any neighbors who might be nodding off too. That would be against the rules, and there's been more than enough punishment for one night.]

I believe Reaver said as much at the seance, judging by how Logan reacted.

... Well, yeah. Shadows have to be attached to something to exist in the first place, don't they.

[ Well that, and one of Bakugou's classmates has a living shadow, so he might be biased. ]

Pet? He told me they were more like partners.

Maybe it's a matter of perspective.

Though you have to wonder when the Conductor is worried this "pet" will get mad or laugh at him if he asks it to deliver some food I made for him. It might work for him, but he respects it - or is afraid of it - enough that there's things he won't do.

So there's a chance we can have it turn against him.

...well, she DID mention Lisbeth said the Conductor looks like..."Benedict Cumberbatch"? Who has a reptile face? [yeah she was just confused by that]

Who? [Stop it with these dated references.] Only lizard faced people I can think of are from Mercury, and the Conductor is most definitely human. At least accordin' to what he told me.
