The shadows are quiet down in the darkness of the pit; for the time being, it's hard to say what the pit itself looks like after the explosion last week. One way or another, we'll find out by the end of the day. As usual, the proceedings are being watched from behind that panel of glass behind podium 30; he'll speak as soon as everyone has found their place in the circle. "Familial has been taken from you. Regardless of what her affiliation was – whether she was with me or the lot of you – you know what you have to do by now. There can be no hesitation; you should offer no mercy. There's no evidence that the killer was injured, so it's probably not for that reason... But the only thing I can think of is there was something on the cloth.

That makes sense to me...I'm just blankin' on what would be on it. Maybe they got rat poison on their shirt or something?

It would have been easy enough to just wash the shirt, though, right? They wouldn't have needed to burn it just from that.

Do you think a sheet was used to carry evidence and throw it in that way?

Or maybe it was used to carry the body. If somebody wasn't strong enough to pick it up, you could place the body on it and... drag it.

In that case, they'd just get rid of it because putting it back would probably cause questions, right? They know people always check the victim's room.

The only problem with that is that there were no sheets or anything like that missing from the victim's room. But maybe they felt guilty looking at it and wanted to get rid of it...?

Wouldn't the body have more bruises on it if it were dragged, though? Assuming she was killed on the 6th floor, that's a long way to drag someone down the stairs.

Not if she was killed in her room.

That's true. If she was killed in her room, it wouldn't be all that far to the dining hall, and the initial drop to the floor when she died could have caused the bruising on her face.

I still don't understand why they'd set any of this up. We still don't know who did it.
