Most of the week has come and gone in relative peace; it's an uneasy peace, but the fact is that it exists, and sometimes that's the most one can ask for. Friday dawns like the rest of the week before it – the clock chimes the hour at seven, the doors to the kitchen and the mail room unlock and swing partially ajar of their own volition, and the building is quiet. Perhaps this week has passed relatively painlessly, and no one's decided to find out what your captor means by that last rule of his; perhaps the communal lifestyle has remained undisturbed, whether due to the lack of threat to everyone's well-being from any sort of outside source or just because no one sees a reason to push their luck. Or perhaps somebody decided to be a damn overachiever and take some initiative. Only one way to find out, isn't there? >Explore?

[ Deciding he needs to be anywhere but the ballroom, Yuuri heads into the dining room. They're supposed to investigate right...? He might as well look around. He can't let whoever killed Kaneki get away with this.

He sees both Sol and Hibiki already in the room, giving them a nod as he enters. ]

[ NODS BACK, in the middle of conversing with Hibiki ]

[He gets the weakest smile and his name with Hibiki's nod. She's glad to see he's alright. Is that bad?]

[ It's not bad at all, especially since Yuuri's glad to see she's alright. Those screams had him worried. He tries to offer her a smile in return, but it disappears immediately. ]

...Have you found anything yet? [ He hesitates in asking, but manages to get it out. Why did this have to happen? ]

Maybe you should ask Sol. I think she's better at me than piecin' all of this stuff together, but...it looks like he might've been readin' in here before...before someone...

[She lets her voice trail off.]

As to findin' stuff, there was a definite struggle. Someone probably got stabbed with that fork. [ gestures to it in case Yuuri cares to investigate it again ] And something weird as fuck happened to that knife...how do you even break shit like that?
