First.
Most of the week has come and gone in relative peace; it's an uneasy peace, but the fact is that it exists, and sometimes that's the most one can ask for. Friday dawns like the rest of the week before it – the clock chimes the hour at seven, the doors to the kitchen and the mail room unlock and swing partially ajar of their own volition, and the building is quiet. Perhaps this week has passed relatively painlessly, and no one's decided to find out what your captor means by that last rule of his; perhaps the communal lifestyle has remained undisturbed, whether due to the lack of threat to everyone's well-being from any sort of outside source or just because no one sees a reason to push their luck. Or perhaps somebody decided to be a damn overachiever and take some initiative. Only one way to find out, isn't there? >Explore? |

[Look, there's some fire returning to her. Anger is great like that, it's the one emotion that never fails.]

[Since she already showed them to Tabby, it's time to share evidence.]
Hey...did you guys see these? [She holds out two bottles.] They say arsenic on them. Why would he be hidin' them in here like that?

Do you think they came out of the vending machine?
no subject
[ SOL, IS THAT SAFE...? ]
We can toss it into his shower now if you want. As to the vending machine thing - probably. I got a fuckin' sword from there.

[A responsible adult named Susan Ashworth.]
But if he was hidin' the poison in here, doesn't that mean...you don't think he was savin' it, do you?
no subject
[ But hiding it is suspicious... ] Maybe he just didn't want anyone else to see it and think he was gonna use it?

[ LOGAN GAVE HER SOME OF HER OWN CRAP FOR IT, WORTH IT ]
...I dunno. I mean, this sort of thing is somethin' you can actually get rid of...if you dump it, it's gone, right? It's not like a knife or somethin' where you can't ditch it easily.

I guess it doesn't really matter anymore, huh? It's...not like he can do anythin' with the poison anymore.
[She feels more bad for Kaneki than she does suspicious.]

[ Sadly. ]
...I don't think there's much more in here. Maybe we should head back to the others? [ tho she's done investigating for the day tbh ]

[And she pauses, but.]
And thanks. I was kinda...upset...but you guys made me feel like I could really help, just a little.

You helped too. I feel better now. [ Even though he still doesn't feel great. ]
I'll see both of you later. I'm going back to my room, so if you need me you can find me there.
