WEEK 2.

WEEK 2

Two people are dead. Jean Kirstein and Caren have both died due to a tragic accident. Of course, you're not entirely innocent, are you? You voted, you played into this game the Coordinators are running. But you know the stakes now. You know what failure to complete Rule Seven really means.

No more excuses from here on out.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Of course, exploring the building from here on will reveal something new: namely, a stairwell in the northeastern corner, leading upwards toward a new floor entirely. Another sign of how things are going to progress around here, maybe; chances are you'll enjoy what you've been given, but was it worth the lives of two people to obtain?

[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Coordinators, you can do so through private meetings with Alena!]

[Yeah, let’s try moving them. Is there anything on the shelves themselves when she does or anything on the beck of the book shelf?]

[Kyrie giggles]

You didn't have much fun during her party last week, did you? I think it wasn't so bad. It was out of place, but it was harmless.

Looks like you're not going to need the kitchen knife anymore.

[Good for you. But if there are weapons in the vending machine that means anyone can obtain a weapon anytime they want. Trials may have gotten tougher]

If there are weapons in that machine then...oh. I may have inadvertently left several grenade-like objects in Sayaka's possession, she got them from the vending machine. They looked suspicious, but I didn't think there'd be authentic weapons in that machine.

[In hindsight that wasn't her brightest moment]

Sevallian.

[Wait, that might not exist in Yuri's world.]

Sevallia is my home country, and they speak a different language there. You probably cannot understand this, but this is Sevallian.

[For the italicized part, Luca is still speaking something Yuri can understand because of the translator, but there is a noticeable shift in his accent. Whatever language he had been speaking before was his second language, and his speech had always been a bit stilted and full of pauses. But speaking this other language, it flows off of his tongue naturally and sounds much better, even if the words are the same.]

The toaster? Perhaps, what is it?

[Yeah those don't exist yet in his world. He's been making his toast on the stove.]

That may be the point of this entirely. To see who breaks, and who works together to find the actual exit. The whole 'we start killing people if nobody dies' thing may just be an incentive to work quickly.

[Oh Sayaka, no.]

That...hopefully that was just a stress dream.

I did have a dream, but I'm not sure it's worth thinking about.

[She had dismissed it as a mere dream, but the more she hears people worrying about it, the more she wonders if maybe she was too hasty to dismiss it]

[okay so should she press the button?

That’s a dumb question she’s going to press the button without too much thought.]

dining room

[Luca is in the dining room, minding his own business and reading a book while he eats. It's very obviously poetry, based on the structure of the words, but Sigrun will need to know Italian to know what it actually says.

Luca will look up to Sigrun and give her a polite nod, acknowledging her presence, but his mouth is full of food so he can't talk at the moment.

Suspense and mystery, mostly. I don't mind most genres, but I prefer something that makes me think while I'm reading.

[She feels much more comfortable admitting she's into mystery to Elda than to the other person she had discussed books with. Less risk of someone thinking she's enjoying what's going on.

Because she definitely isn't enjoying this situation at all.]

You know, the toas-- [OH. Right, different worlds. Maybe his doesn't has toasters. In that case...] It's a small rectangular object. You put sliced bread inside, and it's toasted in like a minute or so. It's rather convenient if you like toast.

[At least it seems you didn't take it!]

That's what I thought as well, but it seems strange that everyone had some kind of bizarre dream.

[He could easily dismiss one or two people having vivid, strange dreams. But that many people? It's a little disconcerting.]

[personal profile] chessturner 2017-09-20 10:29 pm (UTC)(link)
...yes, I admit that's bothering me too. But if it isn't a dream, then what could it be?
firstaid: (Eh?)

[personal profile] firstaid 2017-09-20 10:30 pm (UTC)(link)
[So nothing happens.

And Estelle elects to press it again... and again... and again... hoping for results.]

[personal profile] sadisticwarfare 2017-09-20 10:30 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm not sure. It's hard to just dismiss it as a dream, though.

[Luca got a bunch of crap from the vending machine, so if anyone wants to encounter him in the hallway as he tries to haul it all back to his room discreetly then that could happen. There is definitely a bikini in that pile too.

Luca can also be found at his room, and he is in considerably better spirits. He's sitting on his bed, and the picture frame he found is in his hands, and he is looking it over.

Lastly, he can be found in the dining room with the butter-passing robot, trying to talk with it.
]

So...what is it that you do, exactly?

I pass butter.

What else?

I pass butter.

...that's it?

Yes.

That is a little...

I know.

[Help him he can't handle such a depressing robot.]

[Hmm okay. Well let’s move on. She thinks maybe there’s a succession of buttons to be pressed. Estelle will start to take down books to look behind them for more buttons. She will start around the area she was at and work right.]

They made an object just for that?

[He sounds confused, but whatever. Weird future stuff.]

If you want, I can show you how to make toast in a frying pan.
firstaid: (really; serious; unsure)

[personal profile] firstaid 2017-09-20 10:40 pm (UTC)(link)
[Well shoot. She huffs a bit but it can’t be helped. So no dust on the top shelves and a mysterious button and no sign of an escape...

Nothing on the tables or chairs either, she takes it?]
