WEEK 2 Two people are dead. Jean Kirstein and Caren have both died due to a tragic accident. Of course, you're not entirely innocent, are you? You voted, you played into this game the Coordinators are running. But you know the stakes now. You know what failure to complete Rule Seven really means. No more excuses from here on out. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Of course, exploring the building from here on will reveal something new: namely, a stairwell in the northeastern corner, leading upwards toward a new floor entirely. Another sign of how things are going to progress around here, maybe; chances are you'll enjoy what you've been given, but was it worth the lives of two people to obtain? [Thank...whatever acceptable force out there for you, Elda, she'll scoot on inside with a smile, still keeping her eyes averted out of respect.

Once she closes the door, though, she pulls a blood bag out of her sleeve with a smile.]

We got an infirmary, and they've got these. It's...not much, probably, but there's more in there.

[matchbreaker]

[ Once they're inside with the door closed (locked) well...

... Honestly it looks like other the other rooms with the notable enough difference that the bed looks like a mess. She's not made it, the blankets are a bit strew and - oh. Wait, no, there is one thing: it's dark in here. She's taped (with duct tape) a blanket over the overhead light in the room. It's not quite pitch black, but it's pretty dark and might take Sayaka a moment for her eyes to adjust. Elda was about to head back to the bed to put on her dress or uniform or something, but she accepts the blood bag, blinking.

Oh.

... Oh. ]

... Golly, really? That's sweet of you.

[...jesus, it is dark. That's something Sayaka doesn't...really feel weird about, as much as it is kind of nice to get a rest from the light. But god, this is making her a bit sleepy.

She'll speak up, though, after getting distracted.]

It's really no trouble. I thought you would need it after...well, this week. And I feel bad that I was making food while you couldn't eat at all.

[matchbreaker]

[ She nods, rubbing her thumbs over the bag. It's cold... not her preference, and she can't smell anything about it one way or the other. It must be a little bit older? Or maybe- no, it's almost certainly human. She inhales, and she looks up at Sayaka with some surprise. But the vampire pulls it to her chest and the motions for Sayaka to set somewhere. ]

Still, that's unsettling to offer a little bit of your species life for me, I'm sure. But come, sit. I intended to finish brushing first, but I can get dressed if you're going to keep looking away.

--S-sorry! I just...don't want to be disrespectful!

But, I...also don't want something to happen to you, if you need to go out and get something for yourself. S-so--leave this to me, if you want to.

[ . . . that said, she's saying that with a teasing tone as she shreds the towel and is going to put on the school uniform now??? ]

[ Heh, heh, heh....

But okay after a shirt spell the blood bag is on the bed, she's sitting on the end of it dressed and she's back to brushing her hair and she says: ]

[Alright, phew. She'll set her gaze back to Elda with a smile.]

Oh wow, now I sound ugly.

[ Blandly, she responds with this while brushing her hair!! ... Want to sit next to her or somewhere else in the dark room? ]

I mean...I can see why James-san praised your hair so much, for one. You take incredible care of it.

Mmm, of course. It's something I've always had pride in! And like I've told some of you, you need to look presentable before you go out. I suppose you're getting a special honor in that respect.

[ Brush, brush. But she's watching Sayaka as he's doing this, so used to this is she. ]

Ah, do you need any help with makeup, or anything like that when you're done? I managed to get a small kit from the machine.

Oh, I don't normally wear much.

... If you've got nail polish I'd love a touch up though, these're going to chip eventually - and I wouldn't mind being dolled up here and again.

...No, I don't think it has any. I only found some eyeliner, a compact, some mascara, and a nail file.

[Mmph. Now she feels kind of bad for getting her hopes up.]

You can do me up one of these days anyway? I'm going to end up having blood more sparingly than usual, I'm sure some wrinkles will show eventually.

There's got to be a finite amount of this stuff, right? That Ashworth woman said you guys had two months of food, so there's probably even less of the blood.

Not...really. At least, not since I got here. [She doesn't want to bring up that dream again.] Is everything okay?

Of course not, this bed's no proper coffin. The whole thing's too soft.

[ She groans a little on it, but keeps brushing her hair. ]

More than that, I got a weird dream last night about my granddaughter failing to kiss her boyfriend. The whole thing's just positively silly.
