WEEK 2.
Two people are dead. Jean Kirstein and Caren have both died due to a tragic accident. Of course, you're not entirely innocent, are you? You voted, you played into this game the Coordinators are running. But you know the stakes now. You know what failure to complete Rule Seven really means. No more excuses from here on out. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Of course, exploring the building from here on will reveal something new: namely, a stairwell in the northeastern corner, leading upwards toward a new floor entirely. Another sign of how things are going to progress around here, maybe; chances are you'll enjoy what you've been given, but was it worth the lives of two people to obtain? |

[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Coordinators, you can do so through private meetings with Alena!]

[ . . . Or maybe she said that?
... But yes, that's why she forced herself into a sick girl's smelly room. ]
no subject
What am I receiving in exchange for this information? You made a big deal about your secrets when you barged in uninvited.
no subject
[ . . . Then again, wait. How this room smells, how ill she's been...
She wonders... Wait, how sh's carrying herself and - ]
... Oh, I get it. You can barely move one of your arms.

Tensing somewhat, Rin forces herself to remain rigid and not grip the pillow in her lap any tighter. Its positioning is no coincidence.]

The vampire's eyes turn more catlike and she smirks, apparently satisfied at the idea she got it right. She even Evil Old Lady chuckles. ]
no subject
And? What does that mean to you?
no subject
no subject
That goes for anyone, but it should be a piece of cake for Elda especially, who's already forced herself into her room. Rin regards her skeptically, unwilling to voice that. Why give her ideas?]
It can't be that bad. Even if it were, it's medicine; it's not supposed to smell like a bakery.

[ and she produces from where she dropped it as she came into the room... a pillow sized sac of a bitter ass dark tea. The tea of mourning. she tosses it towards Rin. ]
There, that'll cover it up more.
no subject
A peace offering?
[That's the thing she focuses on; obviously Elda couldn't have known there was a strange smell in here before she came in, so apparently she came with the intent to bring Rin the tea from the start.]
no subject
[ . . . You know, minus the breaking and entering. ]
no subject
[She accepts it though, holding it in her lap. She ran out of fragrance packets over the weekend, so this might work nicely, actually...]
Unless things have changed recently, but I doubt it. I always forget to bring something unless I leave a note, but I wouldn't be that far out of the loop.
no subject
[ Because that... makes sense... clearly. ]
But wow, really? That's mighty slovenly of you!
no subject
[And she doesn't go out all that often, so...]
no subject
Still, not the sort of thing I'd expect from your first impression... [ She considers this a moment... Oh. oh wait. ] You've still got to explain more but you're one of those mages-not-wizards and that's a secret! You try to sound more diligent than you are to make you seem unapproachable, right?
no subject
no subject
[ She doesn't sound like... at all sorry. as she waves her hand dismissively... ]
no subject
[And if you asked her, that unapproachable side to her character comes so easily she couldn't really say it's always forced.]
If I give you a vague idea about the difference between mages and wizards, will you get off my case?
no subject
For now, sure.

The easiest distinction to make is that wizards are more powerful than magi by far. There's not many of them in the world, either. So far as I understand, there's only been five ever known.

... So Merlin's not real? Or is he one of the five?
no subject
There's no record of his death either, so it's possible he still lives to this day.
