WEEK 3.

WEEK 3 You all got to witness Yosuke Hanamura's death earlier this past week. You know what the punishment for breaking the rules is. With Chitoge Kirisaki and Blue's deaths, you're painfully aware of just how little trust this group really has. How long until someone kills again? What about that time limit the Coordinators imposed? Will there be another incentive? There are so many questions, but not a whole lot of answers. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... And when you wake up, you'll discover that a pattern seems to be emerging, at least as far as the building itself goes; a new floor is available to you, a stairwell across a short hallway from the one on the second floor having unlocked itself. There's not too much of a question about it as a result - at least, as far as what it means. It's definitely a reward. PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 30

Sometimes! It's honestly just something I've had a lot of practice with over the years, but you bet it makes stuff like that a million times easier.

Well, I've never died of blunt force trauma, so I can't really say if it's that terrible.

...I wonder how closely those two are listening in on us.

[ At the end of the day, Yuri's not about forcing personal information out of someone unless it was an issue of life or death. Since this is decidedly not one of those and it concerns someone he cares about, you bet he's not gonna press it.

Anyway, he's listening to her talk, and... ]

I don't think so.

[ Part of it's because he's biased and knows what she's talking about. ]

If someone's going around wishing for the death of this person then they're going about it the wrong way. That person didn't ask to be born like the way they were, anyway. Besides, if they think killing them is going to solve a big problem like that, they've got another thing coming.

[ Basically he believes anyone wanting to kill her is wrong and they can just kiss his ass, because he knows what this is about. ]

Playing dirty, huh?

[ Yuri sure didn't, and he's not expecting Terumi to really pull a knife in the middle of the fight.

...The difference between him and any sane person is the fact he doesn't mind the idea all that much. All it does is manage to make the fight much more interesting.

Of course Yuri is quick on his feet and so that provides him ample time to move himself out of the way and attempt to grab at Terumi's wrist to try to halt his movements further with the knife. ]

[Sayaka tilts her head, looking a little confused.]

Well, no they didn't, but... [She has to word this delicately, not for Yuri, but for herself.]

...but what if they're okay with it since they know it will help? Especially since people like this person have sacrificed themselves in the past?

[Put her two dreams she got together, we get this. She's not entirely happy with this conclusion, but if it makes things better then it's okay-- that's what she thinks. It's never been about her well-being. For as selfish as she is she also can't seem to take the time to even think about herself.]

[ He snorts, and he also doesn't bother asking. ]

You play guitar?

[ That reminds him, he received some things from the vending machine...some of the things obviously weren't his. And he knows other people's stuff can be given to strangers. ]

Hey, do you happen to own a green one, by any chance?

[It doesn't look like there's anything off with the cue sticks!]

[ This is the second time someone's seem surprised he can play guitar, maybe he should rework his image. Not.

Either way he pulls down his hood to reveal his electric green hair. ]

Dunno about own, but yeah I used to have one. Does it match?

[ His hair, he means. ]

If that's what you want to call it! [ All that does is bug Terumi more, at least Mikoto hadn't complained one bit when he pulled a knife on him, god. As for halting his progress with the knife there's two options: either Yuri isn't going to be fast enough, or he can get a handle on it at the price of a nice cut on his hand.

Terumi is apparently very far from playing. ]

It could be interesting, but I'm a bit too irritated with this whole situation to find it anything but annoying right now.

I'm sure we'll find whatever it is they want us to find. It may not tell us anything more about this place, though.

Perhaps not, but it's not as though there's all that much to do here.

Fair enough. That "incentive" certainly has hit everyone hard, hasn't it?

[ She nods and then flicks at the bottle in the middle of the table, wobbling it some ]

[The paperwork. Something about it is striking him as strange.]

[ Clearly it's time to start a concert!! ]

[ He'll be ollying outie and then returning with the green electric guitar pretty quick. ]

So, does it look like your old musical friend?

...Maybe it's not removing it so much as it is suppressing it. Kind of like a more extreme version of an eye mask or noise-canceling headphones.

[Fern's day starts simply enough with a trip to the vending machine. Its a bit of an odd haul that Fern finds herself examining. She decides to put on the glasses and hat and just. Pulls the string attached to the latter. The hands at the top clap. She pulls it a few more times. Clap clap clap.

What.

She spends most of the day in the game room, looking over the D&D rules. She doesn't... quite grasp all the complex rules, but it definitely seems like the stuff Celia was talking about. She doesn't want to make a perfect recreation of her original sheet, but she could see herself as a Fell Barbarian. Even if it wasn't the most flattering sounding thing in the world. She can be found surrounded by sheets, trying to figure out how to make a good character and how the games work. Dungeon crawling, loot nabbing... seems straightforward, if she can just figure out what the rest of this entails.

But, well, at the end of the day a deadline is coming up and Fern can't stand to have that weighing over her. It was bullshit. It was stupid, inconsiderate bullshit. She just needed to get it out of mind.

Needless to say Fern's getting plastered in the bar, surrounded by various bottles and resting her head on the table. Welp.]

No, I doubt it will. That would be too convenient for us. Whatever they leave out for us to find is completely deliberate on their part.
