WEEK 3.
You all got to witness Yosuke Hanamura's death earlier this past week. You know what the punishment for breaking the rules is. With Chitoge Kirisaki and Blue's deaths, you're painfully aware of just how little trust this group really has. How long until someone kills again? What about that time limit the Coordinators imposed? Will there be another incentive? There are so many questions, but not a whole lot of answers. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... And when you wake up, you'll discover that a pattern seems to be emerging, at least as far as the building itself goes; a new floor is available to you, a stairwell across a short hallway from the one on the second floor having unlocked itself. There's not too much of a question about it as a result - at least, as far as what it means. It's definitely a reward. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week three of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Coordinators, you can do so through private meetings with Alena!]
TUESDAY
INCENTIVE
Oh, hey – if you could all meet in the foyer in about ten minutes, it'd be appreciated. We've got something in there that you guys might not want to leave alone.
[Well, that's...probably needlessly ominous.
That said, however, the "something" that's in there this afternoon seems to be a table with a stack of red envelopes on them; Alena is standing next to it, though she doesn't seem to be moving, just watching as everyone files in. She won't answer is anyone tries to talk to her; she'll just shake her head and shush you. Later.
And after those ten minutes have passed, Jericho can be heard again over the system; shortly after he starts speaking, Alena picks up the stack of envelopes, passing them out to everyone who's in here. Once she's done, she'll turn and disappear back into the office without a word.]
Since we've got you guys in here, I thought I'd let you know what's going on this week – it's another little nudge in the right direction, I think, something to keep you guys moving. You're all doing a great job avoiding the timer so far and I think we all want to keep that much up, right?
So here's what's going on. You're all coming in off of really varied backgrounds, I'm sure you've all noticed that by now! You've even been coming up with a bunch of theories about it, it's really cute to listen to you during meetings. Because holy shit, look at you guys go!
Thing is, though - some of you have been a lot more honest than others. A lot more. And I thought it'd be a good idea to level the playing field a bit. So! These envelopes are how we're going to do that.
Inside each of them you'll find something written down that's...important to you. Something you want to keep close. Maybe you've been hiding it for years, maybe you've just been hiding for...I don't know, two and a half weeks now. Hell if I know who. Maybe you think everyone will hate you if they know, maybe you know for a fact someone will kill you if they do. Or maybe it's just something you're used to keeping to yourself back home.
No more secrets, guys.
Whatever's in there is going to be made known to everyone if you don't kill someone by the end of the week. It doesn't have to happen tomorrow or anything – though it can if you'd like! – so you'll have some time to think it over. Decide what's really important to you. Because if you don't at least attempt Rule Seven, everyone's going to know. And when I say everyone, I mean everyone – everyone here, everyone back home.
And by the way...? Only the person who attempts Rule Seven is going to be safe – everyone else is getting theirs made known by the end of the week, no matter what happens.
Have a good week, guys. It's probably going to be a long one.
[This post here is set up specifically for this motive; enter your information as you see fit, and please do so by Thursday evening.]

...they can't be serious about this.

You know, he's going to open that here, not so much because he disbelieves them but because he's morbidly curious about what they would even have in here, because there's kind of a -
...Oh. Oh, that's. That's going to be slightly inconvenient.]
Well. Consider me impressed, Mr. Jericho, well done.
[From the sound of it, it's not a good sort of impressed.]
no subject
...If the way Sayaka's expression loses all color is any indication, holy shit, that's. That is really not good, and she's stuffing that back in her envelope as fast as possible and just plain bolting.
And here she was content with this week.]
no subject
Whatever is contained in this envelope, I would hope that the necessity of killing someone in order to protect your secret will stay everyone’s hand. If that is not enough for everyone, consider what has happened to both of the people who have taken a life here. Hopefully we all have enough sense to realize no secret is worth paying down both your life, and the life of an innocent.

[THIS MIGHT BE A PROBLEM]
Someone certainly does seem eager for a few corpses to present themselves, from the sound of it.
no subject
[...he's really curious, because there's. you know. literally no way, right? Literally no way. Um.
...he's still gonna pocket that envelope and read it... somewhere private. Yes.]
no subject
It'll be inconvenient to be found out...but it's nothing to kill for.
[At least her secret isn't]
no subject
She stares at the contents of the envelope.
Her hands trembling, she crumbles it immediately.]
Th-that's not funny. That's not funny.

...Alex goes pale. ]
Huh...?
[ She leaves, looking confused. ]

[But it's hard to tell if he'd mind it being shared with everyone else.]

It's, like, not nice to tell lies.
[When most of the paper's burned, she lets the last piece fall and puts it out with her boot. Honestly, what a joke.]
no subject
He has a sudden urge to punch Jericho in the face, but at least he's sure he's not alone in that sentiment.
Yuri then decides take a little walk to his room. He's also slowly made sure to tear the paper into a few pieces by the time he's arrived. ]

[ The envelope is up for grabs if anyone is enough of a snoop, but he's leaving. ]

She spends a good portion of the day in Room 2, just kind of. Screaming into her pillow, honestly. That's all she wants to do at this point. Scream, cry, pretend this doesn't exist, pretend that her life has been good up until this point, and just. Stop. Thinking about it.
It's in the evening that Sayaka finally decides to come out, a smile plastered onto her face but barely held together by everything that's happening. She makes a quick trip to the kitchen to make a fuckton of tea, and just...kind of absconds to the bar, occupying one of the tables with the teapot, teabags, and an aggressively large mug. She's just gonna pretend everything is fine, everything is good, and quite frankly, she's giving the alcohol a serious eye right now.
...A while after that, though, once she's got enough chamomile in her system to try and kill every conceivable emotion in her, that she'll make a trip to the vending machine, and just. Kind of admire the absurdity of her haul? Honestly, that's all she can really do at this point. That's all she can do to keep her mind off everything.]
Bar
[That was a bit blunt, Kyrie, but yeah. She can understand why Sayaka would be like that -- that's bound to be a nasty motive for a lot of people. But to Sayaka? What kind of secret can she have?]
That way of looking at the liquor is rather telling, you know.

MEETING...!?
Meeting in bar at 6:00.
[...there's no mention of food, huh. And indeed, when everyone convenes in the bar, it doesn't really seem like Tarrlok's made anything for once. Well, he looks kind of... not good. He's already poured himself a drink, and his complexion is significantly more ashen than usual.]
So. Has anyone found anything.

Well, all this unpleasantness has put him in a bit of a mood. If you're looking for him, you'll find that the door to room 22 is locked. He might answer it if you knock, but do you really want to deal with him right now??
Later on in the evening around dinnertime Archer will finally emerge from his room, looking about as bored as he usually does. He'll make his way to the kitchen where he'll make tea (and mooch off of anyone making food today, thanks). It seems his mood from earlier has carried over though; he can't seem to make a decent cup of tea to save his life this evening.
After dinner you can find him in the game room where he's absently paging through those D&D knockoff manuals. He still looks bored and these aren't really keeping his interest, so eventually he'll move to set up the chess board and... just sort of stare at it. Man. He's really not doing well today. He'll move the pieces around a bit while he's thinking, but it's mostly just straightening their positions on the board.
Today's definitely not a good day.]

for most of the day, she can be found in the kitchen creating some kind of weird concoction again. this time it appears that she's baking something, though who knows what this girl could be up to? it's probably edible, but...well. it might not look like it is. though it doesn't smell half bad...
she can also be found in the library looking through the shelves for...something? whatever it may be?
finally, you can find her in room 11 with her door halfway open during the afternoon. there's a note on her door that reads,

Kimblee has been sort of scarce since the incentive announcement; he's not taking it badly, at least not outwardly, but he's been very subdued as a whole and clearly looking for a distraction. That's what brings him to the billiards hall before the meeting; he'll be in there lining up shots and...generally sucking at pool in literally every way that a human being can conceivably suck at pool, actually, because for a soldier he's a fucking miserable shot.
They never did give him a pistol in Ishval, even for the sake of self-defense; it's probably due to the fact that he could aim at the ground and miss. But he doesn't really give a fuck about that right now – the fact of the matter is that it's something to do with himself, and doing something he's bad at is distracting and frustrating in a way that isn't thinking about the incentive, because that is really going to be inconvenient for him if it gets out in so many ways.
He'll be at Tarrlok's meeting that evening, however, and after that... Well, he can be found in the game room, where he's apparently decidedly better with cards than he is with billiards; he's cutting and shuffling them one-handed – triple cuts in his hand, riffling them against the table, just...manipulating the hell out of them in a manner that's definitely practiced but almost bored in nature.
He'll look over if you enter the room, however; he's not oblivious to his surroundings.]
Interested in a game...? I can try to make it worthwhile, if you're willing.
