WEEK 3.

WEEK 3 You all got to witness Yosuke Hanamura's death earlier this past week. You know what the punishment for breaking the rules is. With Chitoge Kirisaki and Blue's deaths, you're painfully aware of just how little trust this group really has. How long until someone kills again? What about that time limit the Coordinators imposed? Will there be another incentive? There are so many questions, but not a whole lot of answers. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... And when you wake up, you'll discover that a pattern seems to be emerging, at least as far as the building itself goes; a new floor is available to you, a stairwell across a short hallway from the one on the second floor having unlocked itself. There's not too much of a question about it as a result - at least, as far as what it means. It's definitely a reward. PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 30

Yeah, exactly. [ She's liking Alex more and more each time they talk. ] Even if no one ever sees you doing it, it's pretty freeing.

[She looks at the paper stapled up in the conference room and back at the latex gloves filled with... something.

I didn't think painting would be such a mess...

[Maybe a bit of one, but the way Rin has things set up and with the garbage bags so the floor doesn't get messed up too bad... just what are they doing?]

[Hey, neighbor. While she was in a better mood earlier in the week, Rin's in a stoic mood as she sorts through the items Susan has on display. With the motive hanging over everyone's head, that seems to be the case for a lot of people. Someone who knows how to play a guitar though? Rin glances up from where she was examining the gel packs.]

The guy in the loud yellow jacket, maybe. [She's talking about Terumi.] Or Alex. I don't have a clue, to be honest with you, but I think their profiles mentioned they like live music.

[Or indie music, in Alex's case, but she just assumed those were similar.]

I'm not sure you really want to hear about it.

A coincidence, I think. [And three is a pattern? That's the saying.] But not this time. Not all of us on the same night.

[Thursday finds Tarrlok... not doing so hot. He just might have hit the point where he's very slightly too stressed to pretend he's Fine, so some cracks are slipping through with regard to his general demeanor as he goes about his day. He starts off in... the infirmary, actually, skipping breakfast to... well, look over some of the pills. Particularly of the sleeping variety. Going by how frazzled he looks, it doesn't really seem like he got much of a good night's sleep.

Afternoon finds him pacing a bit in the bar kind of... pacing around. Just... looking at the offerings. Maybe occasionally glancing at the list of medication interactions Susan put up earlier in the week. He's not drinking anything, at least. But. Um.

...he ends up just leaving and trying the vending machine, which finds him incredulously shuffling through his haul. Especially the paperwork, because what the fuck?

...

He's kind of peering a bit closely at some of the names on said paperwork, because um.]

...Sato?

[hey, at least it's temporarily confused him out of his funk.]

They're still a thorn in your side, then?

[That's what she was getting at before, when she said she was surprised. If Estelle is able to settle in another city for that simple lifestyle, she assumed the council had to be out of the picture.]

Both, actually. It matters a bit more back home, but either way it won't be pleasant.

Still, it may be worth looking into. We don't want to anger our captors too much.

[Not when they can do the spine-explodey thing.]

[ He stops throwing darts for a moment, shoving his hands into his pockets. ]

Think everyone will hate you here or something?

I don't particularly care what they think of me, but they could find that information to be dangerous.

[He's more worried someone's going to try to off him because of it.]

[ She's got a lot of anxious energy, too, so she's just... walking around. Katniss spots him looking weird. ]

It's weird to see you like this. What happened?

[bloodbiter]

We needn't speak of it if you do not wish to, but... I assure you, I will be able to handle whatever the knowledge is.

[ninehundredlives]

No. It's just like anything else, really - you can do it like normal, and be fine, or you can do it like an idiot.

[There's no driving here or anything like that to worry about. But...]

If you're going to drink here, just don't do it alone at night. It isn't safe enough here.

[ She looks a little sheepish. ]

It's probably better if no one sees me doing it anyway. They've got laws against people my age drinkin' back home.

It's so you can take the hands-on approach, or as far as you'd like it.

[Notice: there are no brushes! Once the garbage bags are laid out, Rin picks up one of the gloves.]

You can take one of these and smash it against the paper if you want, or we can prick a hole in one of the fingers and you can spray it. We can even cut a bigger hole in it if you want to try out finger painting. Either way, this is an opportunity for you to go nuts.

[As she speaks, Rin sort of demonstrates what she means of each tactic, from mock shoving the balloon at the wall, or lightly squeezing one of the fingers and aiming.

No mess yet, this is Estelle's stage. If she's upset, the idea is she can toss about the paints as violently as she likes, or if she just wants a way to destress, she can doodle. Work out her feelings on the canvas, basically.]

[ Ohh that's interesting. ]

Now you've got me curious. [ But he actually won't press because his secret is kind of "???", so he can almost emphasize. ]

Don't think you'll be the only one with a secret that's like that.

At the end of the week especially, if they keep on giving us deadlines.

But we've all done a few stupid things here, haven't we? I know I'm not the only person who's eaten food someone else made - at one of these parties, or just because.

I don't think so. If you were, rushing after you with a cup of tea wouldn't change anything.
