WEEK 3.

WEEK 3 You all got to witness Yosuke Hanamura's death earlier this past week. You know what the punishment for breaking the rules is. With Chitoge Kirisaki and Blue's deaths, you're painfully aware of just how little trust this group really has. How long until someone kills again? What about that time limit the Coordinators imposed? Will there be another incentive? There are so many questions, but not a whole lot of answers. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... And when you wake up, you'll discover that a pattern seems to be emerging, at least as far as the building itself goes; a new floor is available to you, a stairwell across a short hallway from the one on the second floor having unlocked itself. There's not too much of a question about it as a result - at least, as far as what it means. It's definitely a reward. PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 30

I don't really understand. My world doesn't have mutants or superpowers. Even if some people use their powers for bad, I'd probably think most of you guys were pretty cool.

[She can think of one mutant she thinks is cool?]

Do you get paid for that? It's obviously dangerous.

. . . It's 'cause we're not human, exactly. We're, like, as related to humans as monkeys are or whatever but we're not the same, you know? And that scares regular humans, even the ones who have superpowers themselves.

[She takes another sip of the drink. Talking about mutant-human conflict to a human (and a civilian at that) is weird.]

We get paid less than, like, big name teams like the Avengers do but. [She shrugs.] If you're on a team, you usually get paid. Usually, like, being the key word there.

That doesn't seem very fair. If you've both got superpowers, you should get along. Why does where you got them matter all that much?

[This is a weird conversation for sure, because Hibiki is still Naive and this sounds vaguely upsetting. And she's aware! Just like when she talks to Elda, it's easy for her to come out and say "I see it this way" because when she gets home? No vampires, no mutants. She doesn't have the context.]

I'm kinda seeing a recurring theme here. The Avengers come up a lot.

It feels weird holding a glass of wine since he just usually drinks beers. ]

That is also very true. The people have firm beliefs about authority at times and that they're against them.

I cook for myself, but that hardly counts. Honestly, besides a few things here and there in the last few weeks, it's been a while since I have cooked for anyone else. I suppose I should brush up on my skills, you can always woo someone with food.

[Speaking of food, here have a bowl of this delicious cheesy goodness. And Luca will have one for himself too, since he's not going to skip out on real food.]

It'd be a little small on you, but fair's fair, you know? Plus, you'd look absolutely adorable in it. Maybe if the whole outfit's in there and I can find some good makeup, I'll show you how I get dolled up for shows.

[Sayaka says this with a grin, though. That actually sounds exciting.]

[Rebuild at one of the tables it is! Rin will collect the cards, figuring Luca will want to snag his drink. Rin doesn't have a glass herself; she came in to steal booze for later, not to drink it here.]

Dammit, I should have thought of that! I've been sewing tea packets into my clothes this entire time.

What would they even do in that case? Bring us back to life to kill us again for killing ourselves?

[Actually the booze is left forgotten on the bar. Luca's got other things to focus on now, so the drink doesn't seem as important anymore.]

Oh, the photos aren't mine. I don't recognize any of the faces in them, actually, so I'm not sure they even belong to someone who's currently here.

[Oh, very nice then. We're handling this like champs. Rin sits down at one of the tables with a completely straight face.]

Maybe they'd have a cardboard cutout stand-in.

Ah yes, a symbolic execution pyre. Just what this place needs.

[Rin opens her mouth, and for a moment it seems like she's going to ask a question. Apparently she decides against it though, her mouth snapping shut as she shakes her head.]

I'd take a window. Or doors that lead to the outside. Of course, I wouldn't say no to dynamite to stuff around the building's foundation on the way out, either.
