[ You know what this murderschool needs? Party games. She talked about it with Tarrlok during the afterparty and today's the day she's going to host a game of truth or dare. After that unpleasant little motive, she's sure a lot of people are going to appreciate a distraction. She's a little too old for this, but watching each other perform stupid dares should be entertaining.

So during the day, she writes a bunch of notes and slides them under everyone's doors. One also goes up on the fridge. ]

[ As promised, there's food! The main attraction here is the build-your-own-parfait bar, but there's a nice assortment of other things too - yakitori made by Kyrie, Fern's mac and cheese, Sayaka's curry, plus a tea/coffee bar courtesy of Weiss. There's also a few bottles of booze Chie grabbed from the bar. Drink responsibly, please.

Have fun playing truth or dare, everyone! Remember, you can refuse a truth or a dare if you want to, but then you'll have to drink one of the shots of hot sauce Chie has prepared. Unless you're being asked to reveal what's in your envelope, then you can refuse without punishment. ]

[She gets a small smile when she comes back. It would be larger, but Adelina is making a concerted effort not to look too amused.]

[ She's... a little frazzled but that... probably. Wasn't as bad as it could be. ]

[She goes a little red in the face, but her smile grows more sincere, fonder.]

His name is Rhys. We met when he came to work in the castle. He is... the gentlest person I have ever met. He delights in making other people happy, and he - gave me a hope for the future I had not previously had.

No, no, I... would not do something like that without being wed! Besides, we are already married, I believe.

You're a princess. I mean, the ones I know of can love whoever they want, but in terms of marriage and babies, the priorities's got to be on things to secure alliances or pacify nobles.

[bloodbiter]

[She shakes her head.]

There may be some who disagree, but they are of little consequence to me. Besides, our land faces enough problems that the issue of who our nobility chooses to marry is a lesser matter. I am not next in line for the throne, either, so any scandal that could come from it will be lessened with the knowledge that I will have less influence than my sister, who will take the queenship when my father abdicates or passes away.

[matchbreaker]

[ Mmmm... then most kingdoms she knows would... well, it would be to make sure that it pacified some of the nobles or some other country. But she nods all the same. ]
