[ You know what this murderschool needs? Party games. She talked about it with Tarrlok during the afterparty and today's the day she's going to host a game of truth or dare. After that unpleasant little motive, she's sure a lot of people are going to appreciate a distraction. She's a little too old for this, but watching each other perform stupid dares should be entertaining.

So during the day, she writes a bunch of notes and slides them under everyone's doors. One also goes up on the fridge. ]

[ As promised, there's food! The main attraction here is the build-your-own-parfait bar, but there's a nice assortment of other things too - yakitori made by Kyrie, Fern's mac and cheese, Sayaka's curry, plus a tea/coffee bar courtesy of Weiss. There's also a few bottles of booze Chie grabbed from the bar. Drink responsibly, please.

Have fun playing truth or dare, everyone! Remember, you can refuse a truth or a dare if you want to, but then you'll have to drink one of the shots of hot sauce Chie has prepared. Unless you're being asked to reveal what's in your envelope, then you can refuse without punishment. ]

I'm an idol! It's kinda like a performer...but I have to do lots of stunts! I've got a sporty image, I think!

[No, the truth is that she's kind of like a wild jungle girl, but she doesn't know that.]

Hmm...alright! What's your favorite animal? Oh, and have you ever had any pets?

Oh - like Sayaka is? That's wonderful! Do you ever do that sort of thing on stage?

[She thinks about it.]

My favorite animal... Some kind of bird, I think. Perhaps a dove. I have a horse back home, but no other pets. I liked to play with the cats that lived in the castle when I was younger, though.

Yep! I do! Though I think Sayaka's probably more famous than I am...but I'm not gonna lose, I've still got a lot more idol in me!

[Hibiki's eyes are bright and attentive as Adelina talks about animals. Clearly, this is a girl who loves pet talk.]

Ahh...a horse! I've always wanted to ride a horse, but I've never had the chance. But I rode a bull once!

[She pauses, blinking once.]

You rode a bull? Isn't that terribly dangerous?

Nah, he was a nice guy! He was about to go wild, so I leaped in to help calm him down. He told me why he was upset, and I helped him out!

[She can talk to animals, after all! ...or so she's claimed.]

He... told you?

[Well, it wouldn't be the strangest thing she's heard about another world since coming here.]

Can you understand bulls?

[brandnewday]

Yeah. I talk to animals all the time. It just takes a little extra listenin' to find out what they're saying back.

[It is not normal for her world, either, but she sure talks about it like it's not weird as heck.]

Do many people in your home have that sort of ability?

[brandnewday]

Huh...I don't think I've ever met anyone else that can. But maybe they haven't tried hard enough?

...Is it typically only something that can be accomplished through great effort, or was it easy for you to learn?

I'm not even sure I learned it! I've been doin' it for as long as I can remember.

Since you were a child? That's quite impressive!

Ah, but it's my turn to ask. So... Truth or dare?

Is it? I can't imagine not bein' able to do it...

[She's not used to talking about it like some sort of special power.]

Alright! I went with dare last time, so I'll pick truth this time!

What is your happiest memory, Hibiki?

[brandnewday]

I've had a lot of happy memories. That's kind hard! There's the day I met Hamuzou...oh, or the day of my first concert! Those are both really important memories to me!

[bloodbiter]

Would you tell me about both of them?

[brandnewday]

Mm! Sure, but in return, you've gotta tell me about yours, okay?

Bein' an idol is a lot of hard work. Even though I'm great at it, it's something that I had to work pretty hard at. The first time my agency formed a group for concerts, it didn't include me, hehe. They picked different idols. I was happy for them! But a few months later, they were gonna have their big concert and we were gonna open for them...we were gonna sing and dance first. A big storm hit that day, though, so instead of performin' once or twice, we had to perform all of our songs at once!

At first, the audience was like "who the heck are these people, where's the main event?", but we all put our hearts into what we were doin'. At one point, I had to dance to a song I'd never rehearsed for! But by the end, everyone was clappin' and yellin' my name, too! It was amazin'! And ever since then, I've had lots and lots of jobs!

[She remembers it like it was yesterday.]

[bloodbiter]

[She smiles as she listens, hearing the passion in Hibiki's voice. It's nice to hear her recounting something so happily.]

It sounds like an amazing experience. You must be incredibly talented, if you were noticed so quickly among the others. I'm glad that your effort was realized.

I've definitely got some talent...and don't get me wrong, I'm the kinda girl who can take on any kinda job! But I've still got a long way to go.

As for when I met Hamuzou, it was love at first sight! He was there among all the other hamsters, but I knew right away he was the one for me. Hehe, I've even been able to take him to work. He's got fans of his own now, too!

It seems like you are more than willing to improve, then. I'm sure you'll do well.

[A small pause.]

May I ask what a hamster is...?

[brandnewday]

I'm not gonna lose out to the rest of my agency! We all support each other, but we all wanna do great, too!

[She hasn't destroyed the career of 14 idols, for example.]

A hamster is a hamster! [She gestures the size of one by holding out her hands.] They're cute, but they're not mice or rats. They're round and fluffy and have tiny tails, and they come in all kinds of colors!

[bloodbiter]

I'm certain you'll do just that when we all escape this place.

Oh! So, they're a kind of animal. I'd never heard of one before, so I was wondering. Is he your pet?

[And—]

Ah, but you said you wanted to know my happiest memory as well, correct?

[brandnewday]

Mm, he's my pet! Well, he's one of them. I've got a few.

[She has twelve.]

That's right! It's only fair, isn't it? And I'd rather talk about good things all day, 'cause we never know how long that's gonna last here.

That makes sense, if you have an affinity for animals. I should like to hear about the rest of them, if I may.

[As for her happiest memory... She has to stop and consider it.]

It's hard for me to pick, as well. I have many fond memories of my sister, but... The first time I killed an ogre holds a special place in my memory, as well.

That's your happy memory?! [Deep breath. Okay, she's got this. No judging.] Ogres are big, scary monsters, right? I guess I'd be pretty happy, too, if I managed to get away from one. But now I wanna hear about your sister, too!
