The third week in this place has come and gone; it was more peaceful for some of you than others, but given the incentive hanging over everyone's heads since Tuesday, that's quite possibly not saying much. Between the party game and some of the actions you all have been taking this week, though, perhaps you've opened up to one another a bit more than you would have normally; surely that can only be considered a good thing overall. The question remains, though: has it been enough? Friday morning dawns like the rest of the week before it; the clock chimes, the doors to the kitchen unlock, and there's a heavy silence that's settled over the building. The first floor is even clear of anything that might be immediately amiss, which is possibly a good sign. Granted, you won't know until you search the rest of the building; here's a small hint for you, however, with regards to how today is going to go: You definitely want to be wearing shoes. Explore?

[Unlike most days, today Milla starts her day with a quick trip to the library on a quick mission. Anything off in here?]

Rideaux's going to head to the second floor toward the infirmary to check on inventory this morning. Anything weird going on on the way there/in there?]

There is, in fact, the incredibly heady scent of blood and other viscera even before you get that far, and it's definitely in the direction of the infirmary.

[Game room is clear! You will have noticed some stuff in the stairwell on the way there, though, so uh. There's that as well.]

[Well, that's nice the first floor is clear. Perhaps that instills a bit of hope into some people. So let's go to the sewing room as long as nothing is amiss in the stairwell or along the way.]

[ urgh, this morning... Infirmary it is. Almost sleepily, Alex goes for a nice morning dose of painkillers.

[And once again, the clock chimes out, resounding loudly through the lower floor and the intercoms of the rooms; once it's done...

Well, there's dead silence for a good long period of time before Jericho says anything; it's unsettling, perhaps, but eventually he does speak up, sounding...more than a bit unsettled himself.]

Okay, uh. That's. Yeah.

[There's another prolonged pause before he continues; he sounds a bit...better when he tries again, but nowhere near the usual level of enthusiasm, and he still sounds at least mildly wigged out.]

Well, that...happened. To Methodical. That kind of happened a lot to Methodical, and god, I'm actually grateful that you all tend to do this sort of thing in the middle of the night. Because holy fuck? Look at that.

And once you're done looking at that, go investigate as you see fit, because, well. You don't have to take my word for it, but you probably want to do something about this one.

Get yourselves together and head downstairs, we'll be waiting. And as always, do your best. Unless your best was that, in which case you should definitely still do your best today, but maybe consider doing a bit less of your best in future.
