Third.
| The third week in this place has come and gone; it was more peaceful for some of you than others, but given the incentive hanging over everyone's heads since Tuesday, that's quite possibly not saying much. Between the party game and some of the actions you all have been taking this week, though, perhaps you've opened up to one another a bit more than you would have normally; surely that can only be considered a good thing overall. The question remains, though: has it been enough? Friday morning dawns like the rest of the week before it; the clock chimes, the doors to the kitchen unlock, and there's a heavy silence that's settled over the building. The first floor is even clear of anything that might be immediately amiss, which is possibly a good sign. Granted, you won't know until you search the rest of the building; here's a small hint for you, however, with regards to how today is going to go: You definitely want to be wearing shoes. Explore? |

That said, however, the back of the room will reveal something slumped against the wall of the room, furthest from the door. Something that...sure did used to be a person, all right.]

...oh, there's the remains. Who is it? Are...we able to tell?]

Part of the reason the body's structure seems to be off is because a large number of its bones have been broken, and one of its arms is very clearly off and not anywhere immediately around; adding to the issue is the fact that the body has been very thoroughly and roughly eviscerated. Basically, there's not going to be any need to check for any signs of life, because short of the world's ugliest miracle (or a Resident Evil zombie, I guess), there aren't going to be any.
That said, however, the person's head and face are still largely intact - they've taken their share of brutalizing as well, but they're still recognizable. The glasses he usually wears are absent, granted, but that's a minimal snare in recognition when compared to everything else going on here; as far as appearance goes, he's older than the rest of you here, his hair sheared decidedly closer.
It's been an unpleasant journey in getting there, but the conclusion is clear.
Walter White is dead.]

But, for the weak of stomach, Aligula's doing her job and going back to the door to let everyone else know— ]
It's Methodical!

Title, dummy! It's... what's his face, the really old guy with all the wrinkles! He brought sandwiches to the meeting!

Everyone out there, please... continue to be careful because there may be a severed arm somewhere.
...
There is definitely a severed arm somewhere, why was any of this necessary?
no subject
Oh! Naturally! Of course there might be a severed arm!

[Look, Tabby loves keys to other people's rooms but she's not looking through that for one. She has standards.]

Thanks but, like, no thanks? I'm just gonna go pick the lock to his room.

[She puts them on herself, then.]

...Not only does someone have a secret to keep hidden, they went at this with everything they had, apparently.
[Muttering to himself as Aligula cheerfully announces the victim,]
Where do we even begin here?

[Susan doesn't really mind doing the body investigations, but if somebody else want to deal with this mess, she's, uh. Not gonna stop them.]

Looks like you made it.
[In reference to the other night, of course.]
I don't mind doing it. But it might be good for a couple of us with medical experience to stick around considering the overall state of the body...and room.

...Oh, that's fascinating. Fucking disgusting and one of the more vulgar things he's ever seen, of course. But still, absolutely fascinating, what a trainwreck.]
I'd wish our usual investigators luck, but that seems a bit gauche.
[...He'll be back later, once you guys are done poking through the. That. All of that.]

Watch where you step. There... There's evidence in here.
[And a severed arm, like Tarrlok pointed out.]
