WEEK 4 Walter White and Fern Green have joined the deceased. Their losses will be felt, just like all the deaths before them. While you might be tempted to put that mess of a trial out of your heads, it's hard to forget what happened. It's even harder to ignore the secrets that have been revealed, still burned into the wall of the dining room. You all have a lot to discuss, don't you? Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... The past week's trial seemed to be hard on everyone, including your captors, it seems that you're still being rewarded for your work; a new floor has been opened up to you, and along with it the return of the uneasy sense that they approve of what you're doing here: killing each other, picking one another off, singling each other out in the trials. It's likely not a pleasant feeling, knowing you're giving them what they want. But what else is there to be done? PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 28

Besides, those Coordinators aren't being shy with the weapons. I have received a few already from the vending machine.

To spell it out precisely, you propose they intend to collect our souls. [It doesn't sound like this shocks her. Honestly, the thought occurred to her too.] But that's just one factor, right? If that was all there was to it, they could quickly take what they want without going to such lengths.

It's not just the goal that's important to them, then, but the means for how they get to it. Conditions that have to be met first, in other words.

I suppose we'll have to start looking for keys, regardless of the reasoning.

Exactly my conclusion, yes. I feel as if going out of her way to recover the pendant is damning evidence in itself.

I do also think that for some reason the method holds significance; they can't simply rip out our souls and be done with it, if this entire elaborate dance is any indication.

Why, I do not know. The what of it, however, is that I suspect they want souls for some reason.

They could want to break the souls in first. Improve the quality, or whatever.

[ Terumi's not sure how to feel about that actually, but Caren might have been a different case. Still it's a thought he keeps in mind as he plays with whatever food has been offered here rather than eat it—why did he even bother with this food, he should just toss it. ]

Any number of reasons. You might just be surprised at the amount of practical study that goes into the matter.

I mean, you can ask, but I don't know if Al'd say anything. She's pretty tight lipped. It could help us though, I guess, knowing how they might've gotten out of it.

If those past set ups happened in this same building, there should be traces of other people having been here before us -- but it won't be easy. The Coordinators are quite adept at replacing anything we break, and they're rather good at cleaning.

If any past groups left anything here, it must be quite well hidden.

[Oh, boy. Someone who doesn't mind the knife. Sigrun rolls her shoulders, wondering if there's anything she should do before fighting someone she's pretty sure is basically a god, and decides that Thor'd be fine with throwing down with another one way.]

If you're sure! Do you mind if I go at you like I'm gonna kill you? Because that's just how I fight, it'd be pretty hard to change that.

Not everyone'll be alright with that, so I figure I'd give the option. Hand to hand's fine with me either way you spin it.

Yup! And you're looking at the best shot of her year, without question. No one can beat me when it comes to a fight whether it's up close and personal or from afar.

I agree. I don't know if there are any hidden rules about that, but if they want us out, we need to get in.
