WEEK 4.

WEEK 4

Walter White and Fern Green have joined the deceased. Their losses will be felt, just like all the deaths before them. While you might be tempted to put that mess of a trial out of your heads, it's hard to forget what happened. It's even harder to ignore the secrets that have been revealed, still burned into the wall of the dining room.

You all have a lot to discuss, don't you?

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

The past week's trial seemed to be hard on everyone, including your captors, it seems that you're still being rewarded for your work; a new floor has been opened up to you, and along with it the return of the uneasy sense that they approve of what you're doing here: killing each other, picking one another off, singling each other out in the trials.

It's likely not a pleasant feeling, knowing you're giving them what they want. But what else is there to be done?

Exactly my conclusion, yes. I feel as if going out of her way to recover the pendant is damning evidence in itself.

I do also think that for some reason the method holds significance; they can't simply rip out our souls and be done with it, if this entire elaborate dance is any indication.

......What could they need souls for?
blackmass: (don't want your crown)

Any number of reasons. You might just be surprised at the amount of practical study that goes into the matter.
zomgboom: (don't confuse me with your fancy math)

You how, like, you need virgin blood or whatever to do some kinds of magic? Do murder souls have different magic properties and stuff?
blackmass: (show you a world you can understand)

[personal profile] blackmass 2017-10-03 08:51 pm (UTC)(link)
That is slightly out of my personal areas of study, but it is a concept I would not dismiss. It's possible that the soul of a murderer would have qualities another might not.
zomgboom: (what are you saying?)

Maybe they, like, need everyone to live in the sin bin so they can summon Mephisto. He probably only wants scummy sin souls and not, like, pure-hearted [bleeped for your sanity by the Beyond Corp.©].

[And also marriages. Clearly he wants people's marriages for whatever reason.]
