WEEK 4 Walter White and Fern Green have joined the deceased. Their losses will be felt, just like all the deaths before them. While you might be tempted to put that mess of a trial out of your heads, it's hard to forget what happened. It's even harder to ignore the secrets that have been revealed, still burned into the wall of the dining room. You all have a lot to discuss, don't you? Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... The past week's trial seemed to be hard on everyone, including your captors, it seems that you're still being rewarded for your work; a new floor has been opened up to you, and along with it the return of the uneasy sense that they approve of what you're doing here: killing each other, picking one another off, singling each other out in the trials. It's likely not a pleasant feeling, knowing you're giving them what they want. But what else is there to be done? PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 28

'Allies' is surely a term she would take issue with, but you have a point.

Okay, so let's define terms. What terms would you or her use?

[ She asks, leaning against a bookshelf. Wow. ]

She is the daughter of my former teacher, and I am effectively her legal guardian. That is the black and white reality of it, no more or less.

[matchbreaker]

[ . . . Wow. Okay, whatever. She nods, because it's not like she'll get much more out of a guy like this. She sort of shrugs it off and... ]

[ Exhale. She'll just crouch down here then. She seems to be expecting return questions from him. ]

I decided to be fair if you had anything.

Anything such as what? I see little reason to question a Dead Apostle, if that's what you mean.

[matchbreaker]

-What the hell're- oh wait, right. Mage-girl's assumptions.

...You're a vampire, are you not?

[oh god we're getting into Nasubabble(tm), please kill me.]

Yeah, but that clearly means something else for her than it does me.

[ She holds up a hand: ]

Well. Either you're on a level most of the Holy Church shudders to even consider, or--and this is the more likely option--you simply have vastly different standards of vampires.

[matchbreaker]

It's going to be that second one. We vampires are born, we grow old - and sure we're immortal as compared to humans - but we'll eventually die.

[ She is mostly studying his expression as she says this, tapping a finger on her cheek, her chin in her palm. ]

[Funny enough, he didn't seem too bothered by the whole thing. Which was more or less standard for him, all things considered.]

I admit that's unexpected.

Yeah, well, there's some entrenched legends to the contrary! Also a little of garbage mythos about this or what shortcoming.

Garlic, wooden stakes, things of that nature? I suspect most would be surprised at how much is just mere superstition.
