WEEK 4.

WEEK 4

Walter White and Fern Green have joined the deceased. Their losses will be felt, just like all the deaths before them. While you might be tempted to put that mess of a trial out of your heads, it's hard to forget what happened. It's even harder to ignore the secrets that have been revealed, still burned into the wall of the dining room.

You all have a lot to discuss, don't you?

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

The past week's trial seemed to be hard on everyone, including your captors, it seems that you're still being rewarded for your work; a new floor has been opened up to you, and along with it the return of the uneasy sense that they approve of what you're doing here: killing each other, picking one another off, singling each other out in the trials.

It's likely not a pleasant feeling, knowing you're giving them what they want. But what else is there to be done?

'Allies' is surely a term she would take issue with, but you have a point.
matchbreaker: (You no longer live as cattle)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-10-05 02:13 am (UTC)(link)
Okay, so let's define terms. What terms would you or her use?

[ She asks, leaning against a bookshelf. Wow. ]
blackmass: (all your love will be exorcised)

She is the daughter of my former teacher, and I am effectively her legal guardian. That is the black and white reality of it, no more or less.
matchbreaker: (Storm King's Thunder)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-10-05 02:40 am (UTC)(link)
[ . . . Wow. Okay, whatever. She nods, because it's not like she'll get much more out of a guy like this. She sort of shrugs it off and... ]

Alright, that works.

[ Exhale. She'll just crouch down here then. She seems to be expecting return questions from him. ]
blackmass: (don't want your money)

[personal profile] blackmass 2017-10-05 02:47 am (UTC)(link)
...Was there something else?

[?????]
matchbreaker: (WITH CRUEL INTENTIONS)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-10-05 03:27 am (UTC)(link)
I decided to be fair if you had anything.

[ LOOK. ]
blackmass: (wish i could fly as angels can fly)

[personal profile] blackmass 2017-10-06 04:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Anything such as what? I see little reason to question a Dead Apostle, if that's what you mean.
matchbreaker: (Projected Images)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-10-06 06:38 pm (UTC)(link)
-What the hell're- oh wait, right. Mage-girl's assumptions.

I'm not that.
blackmass: (all your love will be exorcised)

[personal profile] blackmass 2017-10-06 06:44 pm (UTC)(link)
...You're a vampire, are you not?

[oh god we're getting into Nasubabble(tm), please kill me.]
matchbreaker: (Notre Dame)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-10-06 06:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, but that clearly means something else for her than it does me.

[ She holds up a hand: ]

I was never human to begin with.
blackmass: (and run away from here)

[personal profile] blackmass 2017-10-06 06:56 pm (UTC)(link)
...

[Huh.]

Well. Either you're on a level most of the Holy Church shudders to even consider, or--and this is the more likely option--you simply have vastly different standards of vampires.
matchbreaker: (Captain Marvel)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-10-06 06:59 pm (UTC)(link)
It's going to be that second one. We vampires are born, we grow old - and sure we're immortal as compared to humans - but we'll eventually die.

[ She is mostly studying his expression as she says this, tapping a finger on her cheek, her chin in her palm. ]
blackmass: (say one word I'll laugh and bury you)

[personal profile] blackmass 2017-10-06 07:03 pm (UTC)(link)
[Funny enough, he didn't seem too bothered by the whole thing. Which was more or less standard for him, all things considered.]

I admit that's unexpected.
matchbreaker: (Kenn Lobb)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-10-06 07:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, well, there's some entrenched legends to the contrary! Also a little of garbage mythos about this or what shortcoming.
blackmass: (trust me and take my hand)

[personal profile] blackmass 2017-10-06 07:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Garlic, wooden stakes, things of that nature? I suspect most would be surprised at how much is just mere superstition.
matchbreaker: (Depression News)

[personal profile] matchbreaker 2017-10-06 07:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Precisely!

[ Well, she'll just leap back onto her feet proper now. If that's all he's got, probably no big reason to linger. ]
