WEEK 4.

WEEK 4 Walter White and Fern Green have joined the deceased. Their losses will be felt, just like all the deaths before them. While you might be tempted to put that mess of a trial out of your heads, it's hard to forget what happened. It's even harder to ignore the secrets that have been revealed, still burned into the wall of the dining room. You all have a lot to discuss, don't you? Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... The past week's trial seemed to be hard on everyone, including your captors, it seems that you're still being rewarded for your work; a new floor has been opened up to you, and along with it the return of the uneasy sense that they approve of what you're doing here: killing each other, picking one another off, singling each other out in the trials. It's likely not a pleasant feeling, knowing you're giving them what they want. But what else is there to be done? PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 28

...I'm honestly surprised, that that seems to be the general consensus. That we're all trying to understand one another, rather than tear each other apart over our secrets.

[She knows that sort of thing very well, from her tone. But...well, after she eats some more, she smiles a bit.]

I'm kind of glad for that, though.

I was a bit concerned, but it would seem that everyone is responding very well. We all have things we'd rather not talk about-- but rather than separate us it seems to have unified us in a sense.

[That's something she's very grateful for.]

I had hoped no less for us.

[Milla is rather fond of their strange crew.]

...It's a rather nice surprise, yes.

[She expected everyone to tear one another's throats out for how terrible they all are, and something like this...it's actually really goddamn unexpected.]

We're a much stronger group than they'd like to admit, you know? The people here, they tend to be...standoffish, perhaps, but they still do their best to not fall into the same traps.

[Milla feels quite the same way. She has nothing but respect for everyone here. It would be easy to fall into chaos as things were but they hadn't done that.]

It's true. While we all have our various regrets, I believe that is why we are all capable of facing this situation as well as we have. We are all well aware of who our real enemy is.

Yeah...yeah, the Coordinators. We need to keep seeing it like that, even if the game's stacked against us. I'm sure things will work out by the end, if we keep going this way.

[Like, she hopes. That, or it's gonna crash down horribly.]

That's right. It should be even clearer now that doing what they want us to isn't helping anyone.

[Instead it's just costing so, so many lives.]

Even so, things might continue like this unless we can find a different way.

[Without other ideas they're stuck in a very real, very sad cycle.]

...That's just a fact we have to get used to. It's either that, or someone's going to die every eight hours...

[...Sayaka shudders a bit at the thought.]

It's...frightening, honestly. Like a game we're not meant to win...

So they say. But is that really what they'd do? I have my doubts.

[Why give them incentive to murder one another if they're just going to kill them off. She could understand if most wouldn't feel comfortable taking the risk to test that threat though.]

They'd likely only have to show us they're serious once to get the point across. After that, they likely wouldn't have a need for it again, because we're all fearful.

[It's an optimistic way of looking at things, but...yeah, Sayaka can't quite shake that feeling.]

Yes. I doubt they would want to do more than is necessary. If they are having things play out this way, there's probably a reason.

[A twisted reason, but still a reason.]
