WEEK 4.

WEEK 4 Walter White and Fern Green have joined the deceased. Their losses will be felt, just like all the deaths before them. While you might be tempted to put that mess of a trial out of your heads, it's hard to forget what happened. It's even harder to ignore the secrets that have been revealed, still burned into the wall of the dining room. You all have a lot to discuss, don't you? Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... The past week's trial seemed to be hard on everyone, including your captors, it seems that you're still being rewarded for your work; a new floor has been opened up to you, and along with it the return of the uneasy sense that they approve of what you're doing here: killing each other, picking one another off, singling each other out in the trials. It's likely not a pleasant feeling, knowing you're giving them what they want. But what else is there to be done? PARTICIPANTS REMAINING: 28

It wasn't harvested from them, and the chances of us needing them are pretty much zilch, since by the time anyone needs an infusion, they're already gonna be dead and we'll be holding a trial for their dumb-dumb selves.

Human blood is human blood. It's different for us, okay. If I knew someone was feeding on vampires, I know I would be unsettled in the highest order.

As compared to you, yes, it seems so.

Still, I imagine you have things you're more sensitive or sentimental about as well. No one is entirely flippant.

Nope! I'm flippant through and through. "Not caring" is one of my charm points, after all.

Mmm-hmm, and it makes life a lot easier, too. Not caring's seriously the best~! [ if only more people didn't care!!!! ] You get to do whatever you want without like, worrying about what people think, or how they're gonna feel, or anything... You're totally unrestrained!!

[ She laughs a little more, ]

You know, I am known for that, back home. If I've seemed cautious here, it's only because I've been stripped of so much of my power that allows for it.

[ She shakes her head ]

Though I do not see myself as overly restrained.

You're not like, as bad as some of the other people here, no... What're your powers like?

They're all basic vampire skills, though... naturally, I'm exceptional. [ she counts off on her fingers, ] To begin with, I'm probably a fourth or less as strong as normal here. I noticed it when I tried to throw Everdeen and only barely got her off the ground.

[ But then... ] They also damaged my senses of taste and smell, took away the ability to erase memories, and... well, it might just be they killed all the bats. I've not sensed a single one here.

[ SHE THOUGHT THERE'D BE SOMETHING DIFFERENT... also lmfao erasing memories, considering the incentive we got today, isn't that fun ]

It'd be sort of weird to have bats here anyway, wouldn't it? [ i mean we have a wiggly jelly thing but GOD FORBID we have living bats. ] I've totally never heard of blood breeds wiping anyone's memories clean though! How do you do it? Chant a spooky spell and then cackle like an evil witch~?

[matchbreaker]

[ Elda smirks, and then - well, hopefully they aren't on a staircase now because what she's doing now is in an exceptionally quick movement she's pulling the blood packet into her chest with the left hand and then outstretching the right - palm flat and fingers spread - for Aligula's forehead, to lightly press it into her mask thing. ]

[ They're not, but ooh—Aligula's stunned for a moment, then she's swatting Elda's hand away. ]

You could've just told me, you know. [ She doesn't sound actually that bothered though. ] I guess that's a lot more effiiiciient...?

[ ??? ]

But less fun.

Oh it's plenty fun! I could have erased the last four hours with that, normally!

[ Wow, rude, don't swat her hand...

But she'll take it back to herself, smirking. ]

That's pretty potent stuff, Indomitable. Do you use it for petty stuff, or is it just for important junk? Like making people forget that you totally forgot their birthday.

Well, even for someone like me, it takes a lot out of you to do something like that. Mostly, it's used to erase the memories of humans you hunt. It's actually less potent on other vampires to begin with.

[ so come to think of it, it might not work as well on Aligula. ]

[ Because vampires are a secret thing, right... Hmm. ]

But it's not impossible... [ ... ] Ever used it on another vampire then?

[matchbreaker]

... Oh yes. More often than not, I'd much prefer my lashings to be left remembered by them, but I did once relate a particularly un-ladylike scolding I gave little Reegan, years ago.

I'd like to say that I totally can't imagine anything unladylike out of you, but I'm not in the habit of lying when I don't need to~

Oh, he thought he could get a little uppity! I'd deigned to play with the children a little bit during the assembly and he had the nerve to call me a hag.
