[Upon entering the dinning hall, you will find Cabanela sitting at one of the tables; he has lit two candles that are placed at the center of the table, but there's nothing else to note.

You'll have to supply your own food, since he doesn't have much of an appetite.]

I guess I didn't get my title for no reason.

...Maybe that was why I was kidnapped? So I could provide info in case something like this were to happen; it didn't seem like anyone else had heard of ghouls before.

So it seems, information-gathering is a good skill to have, even if our situation wasn't so strained.

I've never heard of ghouls before, so I'm glad at least one of us was familiar with them-- it explained several key things about the case, in the end.

[He's still not sure if he was right about everything; most likely, he wasn't, but they were able to learn how Kaneki didn't have a scratch on him. So that... counted for something, however small.]

It seems strange to me, knowing that there are places where ghouls apparently don't exist. It's like... I don't know, trying to magine a world without fish or cats.

People are killed and eaten every day, back home. I nearly was, after I went into a park and encountered a ghoul chewing on a guy's legs.

In that case, I'm reeeally glad you were lucky enough to avoid that fate.

When I hear the word "ghoul", I think "zombie ghost", not "man-eating humanoid".

Yeah, it does.

But ghouls are just made-up where I'm from, they're spooky things you see in horror movies and Halloween costumes.

It was a bit of a shock, hearing you explain what ghouls are.

...it's not actually that normal at all.]

There are still robbers and serial killers out there, so it's not like the city is problem-free, there's just no inhuman monsters waiting around for you.

I wonder how many differences there are between all of our worlds?

A lot, most likely. Logan's from a place that doesn't have cameras, and he had never heard of Japan before. [ you'd think a king would know geography ]

[You now, it's never explicitly stated where the heck Ghost Trick is set, but for the sake of simplicity we'll go with "vaguely European country in the same vein as Japanifornia".]

I wonder if it's worth getting some sort of informal survey of where people are from; that information isn't listed on our profiles.
