It's time for an after party!
[About an hour after the trial and subsequent execution, Cabanela makes a decision.
They need to do something, keep the morale up, however little it may be.
Under each occupied room door people will find the following note written:
In difficult times such as this, it is important to carry on.
Don't give into despair; we must preservere.
If you don't want to be alone this evening, meet me in the dining hall.
-Cabanela
[Upon entering the dinning hall, you will find Cabanela sitting at one of the tables; he has lit two candles that are placed at the center of the table, but there's nothing else to note.
You'll have to supply your own food, since he doesn't have much of an appetite.]

He turns on the incinerator and lays his clothes out in front as his heats up. While it's drying, he returns to his room and finds the note. Talking to someone about what happened is a good idea, but first: food.
You'll find him in the kitchen, chopping and shredding various vegetables as the smell of salmon wafts from the oven.]

He walked into the kitchen to get a bite to eat, but changed his mind when he saw Mordecai chopping veggies. ] Hey, can I tell you somethin'?

When she retrieves the note she reads it and then heads for the door - and stops, remembering something she left in the trunk. Given the reveals during the trials, she's pretty sure she knows who this particular item belongs to. When she enters the dining hall she's carrying a mask with her, which she sets down near the candles on the table. ]
no subject
But he sees Chie and a thought springs to mind. He approaches her without pausing to reconsider - because, really, what else is there to do at this point? ]
Hey, Chie. [ He glances at the mask, but doesn't ask about it right away. ] That pickaxe you got from the vending machine. What did you do with it?

[It was late--it had to be afternoon by now, right? He'd just have to go back to his room and sleep off his irritation.]
[Turning on his heel, Dio moved to leave--unless someone stopped him, of course.]

He does, though, pause in front of those candles for a few moments before sitting down, looking contemplative. Angry, but also contemplative. His posture is looking particularly terrible, shoulders all slumped in and back slouched over. The fact that he's here at all means that he's probably open to being talked to, though. ]

First thing's first, though, is that she's going to the kitchen to make a cup of tea; one can bump into her in the process, since it'll take a while. She may not be too responsive, granted, but hey, it's better than being alone right now!
Otherwise? She's picking a spot near where the candles are, staring into them and simply going to sip her tea unless she's interacted with. She's...not up for being shounen and go-getting right now. Not after that.
Ken Kaneki did not deserve what happened to him.]

Killing monsters is one thing. She can take out Grimm all day long and not blink. Killing a person was another thing entirely, and one she's very much not all right with.
Eventually, she'll get up, wash her face, and attempt to look presentable, but she has an awfully hollow look on her face when she goes to the kitchen, makes tea, and sits down with it.]
no subject
...Besides, she promised Bakugou food. He can always ask her to make something later if he's not in the mood to eat just now, but Sol's going to make a variety of assorted spicy dishes to bring into the dining room, which anyone can steal from if they like. She can be caught in the kitchen - working around anyone else in there - or in the dining room, where she'll just sort of pick a chair and slump into it.
Eventually she'll start singing under her breath, apparently not really thinking about it, her eyes shut. It's just the first song to come to mind, although she relaxes a little as she goes. It's the easiest way to calm herself down, even if her Song isn't there. ]

He's wracked with guilt, whether or not the guy committed the murder or not. He hadn't been there to see anything, so how in the hell could he vote? What right did he have? He was a part of something he should have stayed away from, but literally had no choice. After staying in his room for the remainder of the time, he found the note underneath his door. It sounded a hell of a lot better than lounging around at home.
So he went.
At first, he's quiet. Marty walks in front of the candles and bows his head. That's where he stays for a while. ]
no subject
Thoughts that she's...still sorting out how she feels about.
The note coaxes her enough; she pockets it, along with the now-opened letter from the Conductor, and takes with her a box or two of rations. No one's going to want to cook, is that right? At some point, she'll get fruit from the kitchen, something more...healthy. But for now, she'll sit.]
no subject
An hour and a half of crying was enough to bring down Rakka's stress levels enough that, when she saw the letter slid under her door, she promptly headed down there. And when she's there, she pulls herself into the kitchen and starts setting up the tea kettle. If anyone wants anything to drink, they're perfectly safe to ask!
The less said about Rakka's pale complexion, and the redness of her eyes, the better. Please.]

But she does, and when she does she's wearing a smile, because what else is she supposed to do? She has no idea. So she smiles and heads to the kitchen and starts making a whole lot of rice and why not throw in some vegetables too, because although she's not hungry, it's so, so important to eat.
Blue will give out and offer food to anyone who wants it, but she's a lot more subdued and quiet than usual, which given the fact that not to long ago she decided to show everyone her ditty bra says quite a lot, doesn't it.]

While he doesn't feel too sorry for Reaver-- he was a murderer, he had still been a pleasant man. Had he killed out of fear that his country is imminent to collapse? Had he done it just because he could? Who knows, and there's no way for them to ask now, even if he would have answered honestly.
It's Kaneki who Cabanela feels worse for-- a non-violent monster who was killed, possibly because he was an easy target. Cabanela had only had the one conversation with him, but he'd seemed like a nice boy.
Brooding isn't a good look on him but that's what he'll be doing, though every once in a while, he seems to be trying to address a letter to someone named "Jowd", though every time he picks up his pen, he shakes his head and sets it back down again.]

Really, when she gets her note, she wants to stay in her room. She feels awful. She has so many things to say to so many people, but she knows better than to let herself get upset over this. She doesn't want to lose. Reaver...and Logan, who must have known somehow...and Ken...there are so many thoughts running through her mind, but when she steps into the dining room?
She has a weak smile on her face.
She's also wearing a red scarf (she thought it might be nice to try something colorful) and carrying what looks like a frame. She'll take her seat, but she'll also speak out to the room in general.]
Does anyone feel like lookin' at something with me?
[She must be referring to the frame, but she's trying to invite people in, get some conversation going.
Half of her is ready to act, the other half is still the real Hibiki.]

...well, he wasn't as down as some people, as he was quite certain that whole "Reaver dying" business would probably sort itself out instead of resulting in the deaths of six million people. Things always did, after all... but ah, Giovanni had liked him. Ken, too, even if he was apparently some sort of human-eating monster.
Trapped in a building full of humans, of course, with no choice but to kill and die or starve. HMMM. What a load of Trubbish, really. Well, they did know the stakes now, so...
...no, it wasn't going to be that easy. If anything, it would be harder, unless he had a good idea of whose kneecaps to shatter in the near future. He'd just have to try and keep a lookout.
Well, you know what he was interested in trying? Those peanut butter and jelly sandwiches that were really popular in Unova. Yeah, those sounded pretty good, didn't they?
He was just going to make so many sandwiches and empty every jar (except maybe strawberry, because that just seemed a little tasteless.) Then he was going to appropriate the jars for Reasons, but nobody had to know that.
(and damn, he'd already missed out, hadn't he... it's a shame. that would've been a good one.)]

Sounds an awful lot like "Morty", don't use it. Most folks call me Barkeep where I'm from, it's unofficially my nickname by now. [Marty isn't old enough to drink legally, but he can refer to the title.]
