[About an hour after the trial and subsequent execution, Cabanela makes a decision.

They need to do something, keep the morale up, however little it may be.

Under each occupied room door people will find the following note written:


In difficult times such as this, it is important to carry on.
Don't give into despair; we must preservere.
If you don't want to be alone this evening, meet me in the dining hall.

[Upon entering the dinning hall, you will find Cabanela sitting at one of the tables; he has lit two candles that are placed at the center of the table, but there's nothing else to note.

You'll have to supply your own food, since he doesn't have much of an appetite.]

Yeah, seriously. The stuff here tastes like knock-off Sriracha, I want some of that stuff that actually has some burn to it.

... And yeah, I guess. It's not like I saw a buncha heads rolling, but... I guess there's some shit you get used to when most people around you have the ability to fuck others up pretty badly.

Yeah, if you can light people on fire or drop 'em into black holes, it's pretty much go big or go home with no middle ground there.

... And you know what, I'll probably ask at some point, I feel like that shouldn't even be that big of a deal. If the guy can set all this up, I'm sure he can get some damn peppers.
