[About an hour after the trial and subsequent execution, Cabanela makes a decision.

They need to do something, keep the morale up, however little it may be.

Under each occupied room door people will find the following note written:


In difficult times such as this, it is important to carry on.
Don't give into despair; we must preservere.
If you don't want to be alone this evening, meet me in the dining hall.

[Upon entering the dinning hall, you will find Cabanela sitting at one of the tables; he has lit two candles that are placed at the center of the table, but there's nothing else to note.

You'll have to supply your own food, since he doesn't have much of an appetite.]

Have you ever killed someone?

No, never. ...I could, if I needed to. Very easily, in fact. I was a prodigy when I was in the military. But I've never had to kill anyone or anything that wasn't an angel.

Is it that easy? Death has a way of...sticking with you. Even if you don't know their names or faces, it's still...a sin you can't erase.

When I kill the Angels, it comes incredibly easily, actually. As for humans...well, I imagine it would be just a bit different, but I have my fair share of sins already. ...And I do what I have to do.

Nothing as heinous as murder or theft or cheating or something along those lines, I promise. ...But like I said, I do what I have to do.
