The world is all one! Unity mind!
[Another week, another set of disasters. Hibiki’s head is still reeling from the lengthy ordeal that was Solf J. Kimblee. But it’s because of that exasperation that she’s able to turn her restlessness into something useful. It’s too late to set about making curry for everyone, so it’s time to make some easier dishes. A replication of Fern’s mac-and-cheese, somehow she’s whipped up some kind of donut to go with her animal-shaped rice balls. There’s coffee, tea...hopefully it’s enough? And if it’s not, Rin has provided some delicious Chinese food. And that always tastes better late at night, doesn’t it?
And for the adults (or the exasperated teenagers), Susan is carting down booze from the bar. Joy. Hibiki’s never written to the group en masse before, but she delivers a piece of paper to everyone while Rin and Susan finish up the preparations. Each paper has a drawing of an animal on it, too.]
Too much has happened today. Whether you want to get angry, cry, smile, laugh, or just be out of your room, you don’t have to do it alone. Rin and I have prepared food for everyone, and Susan’s brought the drinks downstairs so none of us have to go into the bar tonight.
Even if it’s just for a little while, won’t you think about joining us in the dining room tonight? Being together is just as important as working hard. And remember, nankurunaisa!

[Three more candles are lit today. Tabitha Smith. Sigrun Eide. Solf Kimblee. They’re all Cabanela’s doing. There aren't any decorations, but the food is spaced out so everyone should be able to grab something and munch if they need it. It’s not clear how many people will come, but a serious attempt was made this time.]

...I've been wondering that as well. I received something that belonged to one of Kimblee's associates.
[And then there was Kimbley's ring...]
If this has happened to other people... Well, I suppose things must have ended poorly for them.
[The words are carefully chosen, like he's not sure what to say.]

I was gonna say that that guy'd never lose in a game like this—he's part of my gang, you know? We don't just roll over and take it—but... She wouldn't have his abilities if things didn't go totally tits up for them, probably. [ That's how things work, right. You kill someone and absorb their powers. It happens in movies? And if you make a contract with a god you can get a pair of his eyes that replace your own so, you know, it all probably tracks as far as HLC goes. ] How disappointing! All that hubbub and boasting and he just died in some dinky school? Booooo! Boooooooooooooo! Ughhh.

[He wasn't there to witness Tabby's death, so all he's really got to go on is Kimblee's.]
no subject
[ Probably. She's not the psi expert though, so. ]
You would've... [ ...Actually. ] You and that guy would've gotten along pretty well~ not because he likes boring stuff, but he's the kind to play the long game. Put the pieces in order or whatever, watch it work itself out, give little nudges when he's gotta. It's super boring.
[ ... ]
I'm glad he's dead! [ clearly because he's boring and not because if he wasn't and also if he was here, she'd have to share archer with him? ]
no subject
Don't tell me you'll say the same thing if I die.
[That's gotten him to smirk a bit though, which is certainly something considering how fucking terrible today has been.]
It's a bit of a shame I can't meet him, though. It certainly sounds like he would've been interesting to talk to.
no subject
Innnn a way... He's super pretentious though, just so you know. Like, the philosophical kinda pretentious. [ ... ] Unless you're like, super into that.
[ like a fetish thing. ]
no subject
I can't say I've ever been all that interested in philosophy. I suppose that might put a damper on things.
[he also heard a lot of philosophy bullshit from kimbley?? goddamn.]
no subject
Maybe that's why we get along so well, Ambitious. [ with... another three-note victory tune. little victories. ] I don't have time to waste on philosophizing and stuff! It's better to do things than to just sit around thinking about them!
no subject
[It already takes long enough for him to do what he'd like, why prolong it any!!]
I suppose we do get along fairly well, don't we? I never would have expected that.
[murdergame is weird like that!!]

[ ............... ]
Okay, I'm mostly not trying.
[ thanks for the honesty, aligula. ]

[g o d.]

[ her... brutal honesty... also known as: kind of being an asshole. ]

[He's smirking like an asshole, though.]

[ Jerk!! She's gonna elbow him while she's in the position to, huff. Though... after a moment, she puts her hands in her lap and kicks her feet. ]
I know what you mean though. Like I said, I'm totally fluent in Ambitious-nese.

You're one of the few, then. Consider yourself lucky, I suppose.
no subject
yeah. Mmmmmmmhhhhhgggggmmmmmmm............... ]
...Sooooooooooo, like. Are you gonna be fine sleeping alone now? Because if not, I've totally got some plushies that you can bother, ooor I can come by and keep you company or whatever. [ Though she's been up for a while and she is sort of tired at this point— Archer should feel #blessed because she's. trying. this emotional competency thing for him. She's sort of fucking awful at it, and this is awkward, but. It's some sort of effort. ] I hate how quiet it gets in those rooms anywayyyy, I always end up, like, singing until I fall asleep!
no subject
[He's not sure of that, actually, but he needs a night to get used to the idea.]
...I appreciate the offer, though. The silence is what gets to me as well. Kimblee had it worse, of course.
[Given the whole prison thing.]
no subject
Of course. [ given the whole prison thing. ... ] Were you actually gonna play something, or were you gonna start making bedroom eyes at this dumb thing?
[ the piano, she means the piano. ]

no subject
Oh... it's nice. She usually likes really excitable stuff, but Archer probably isn't the type to play that, but she's not gonna complain. For once. Even if she always complains at Susan about it. ]
...You're not bad. Have you thought about playing a duet with Adroit? She does piano stuff too.
