Week 2.
Two people are dead. Ken Kaneki has been murdered, Reaver has been executed - and perhaps most uncomfortably, the Conductor is proud of you all for adhering to due process. (As always, by which he means that there is a process, and you all are certainly doing it.) Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... However, once you've shaken that off, there are new things to be looked at; the previously closed-off area near the kitchen has been unlocked, and there's a new floor to be explored - consider it your reward for a job well done. |

Marty? Hi, I was just about to go look for you- um, are you- you don't look so good.
no subject
[ He tits his head to the side after a moment or two and shakes his head. ] 'S because I'm reading educational books. [ Marty looks over to her and grins. ] Learning makes me sick.
no subject
That's not entirely too convincing, Marty; she's friends with the absolute king of "no, it's nothing, I'm fine," (well she was friends with him) so you're going to need to step up your game...but well, what could be fine in this place? So she gives him a suspicious smile and sets down the hat she's going to town on.]
You should get that looked at. How're you going to get out of high school if you're allergic to it? [And reaches behind her, into a little bundle of yarn products, oh where is it...]
no subject
He doesn't notice how small her smile is, so he continues to go with it! Leading people off is the best thing Marty can do! ] Who says I'm gonna get out of high school? I could be doin' a million better things than learning how to add and subtract. [ He leans back and shrugs. ] Is that how it goes in college, too?
[ Marty does notice that hat she's making, though. It looks nice and comfy! ]

[Ashley just digs out a red beanie from behind her back. For you, Marty.]
no subject
[ Marty's gonna look...really confused because what's going on? You're acting kind of funny, but he's not gonna judge. ] You alright?

[ When it's offered to him Marty takes it and look at it, a smile breaking on his face! He quickly puts it on, and grins. ] Perfect fit! It's nice 'n warm, too.
[ This is probably the best thing that's happened to him since he came, but he's not gonna say that out loud or anything. ] What do I owe ya?
no subject
Why do all of you people think you owe me? It's out of my own good nature, no payment or favors required.
no subject
He fixes it for a moment or two, and shrugs. ] Because you took time to make me this. I mean I can't sow worth a shit but that's gotta be hard to do, right? [ He smiles. ] A favor for a favor, right?
[ Only he can't sow. Or do anything super special except for play guitar. ]

no subject
[ Shit, what can he do? ] Is there a guitar around here?

no subject
[ Why not? Marty adjusts the beanie a bit and smiles. ] Thanks again. I really appreciate this.
no subject
[Because no matter what he says, she's pretty sure something else was going on there...but she won't push.]
