Week 2.

WEEK 2 Two people are dead. Ken Kaneki has been murdered, Reaver has been executed - and perhaps most uncomfortably, the Conductor is proud of you all for adhering to due process. (As always, by which he means that there is a process, and you all are certainly doing it.) Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... However, once you've shaken that off, there are new things to be looked at; the previously closed-off area near the kitchen has been unlocked, and there's a new floor to be explored - consider it your reward for a job well done. [ Chie usually doesn't read much, but when there isn't much else to do she's more than willing to head to the library and find a book to read - she'd rather be taking pictures of things with her camera, but the film is limited and she wants to save some shots for future crime scene unvestigations.

When she walks into the library she wanders among the bookshelves for a while, looking for anything that looks interesting enough, and when she spots Ashley she immediately abandons her quest for a decent book to plop down next to her. ]

What are you knitting?

[Little mouse might be a more accurate nickname than Ashley'd ever guessed before, because wow is Chie quiet when she walks! She freezes instead of jumps, so it doesn't ruin her stitch, thankfully. She's working with a forest green color yarn now, with some gold by her side.]

Chie. Hi, you're...awfully quiet. Um, actually I'm working on your hat.

I know; I'm a photographer. Moving quietly makes my job easier. [ She gets some of her best pictures when she can sneak up close without a sound. It's also useful for when she wants to collect information without being seen. ]

I like the shade of green.

[Oh, well, that makes sense. She'll have to ask her a bit about that, the photography business. But for now...]

You do? That's a relief. I saw it and it just felt like it fit you, you know? Had to find one that works with gold and pink.

How many things are you making for people? [ If she recalls correctly, there quite a few responses to Ashley's survey. ]

Uh? Umm let's see, counting the ones I've already got finished, leaving out my own... I think there's eighteen? That's...more than half the people here.

[Phew, it kind of hits her how much she's doing. Jeez, this is going to be a lot.]

Wow, that's a lot. How long is it gonna take to complete all of them?

Well, I've got six done so far, so...at this pace? I should have it all done in a week or less.
