It's like I'm carrying the weight of the world
[ So, Yuri's going to be going around, putting up slips of paper for everyone to see, because even with everything that was that trial, he is sure it could help. He doesn't know--it's worked from time to time before anyway and someone should do it. ]

[ Yuri, for once, is going to be making some food for the afterparty that isn't desserts. On his side of things, his food is generally going to be geared towards something more western-style and hearty. In essence, there is some things of curry with beef, chicken, and vegetables in them, take your pick. Sayaka and Kyrie also will be assisting with food, providing stuff that is likely to be geared towards something asian.
This whole set up, of course, is going to be done in the dining hall, since that's where it usually is. ]

Well, she gets up from her reverie to go over and get deeper into the closest to try to find the source. Why not? ]

As she gets closer though, she'll notice that the sounds—metallic clang after clang—have a little rhythm to them, like a sheet of metal being thumped. It's coming from the secret hallway back here in the storage room, and... It's Rin, actually. She's pulled herself on top of that filing cabinet Aligula was talking about, a glass of brandy in one hand (the bottle is next to her), and her chin propped up in the other. She's lightly bouncing her foot on her knee, which in turn is making her other heel bounce into the filing cabinet.
This is good brandy tho.]

[ The older woman speaks up, but her voice is scratchy - a mess, really. She can't... she just can't right now, even if she did follow down the secret passage to get to this sight. ]

Rin keeps her glass in hand, but tips her upped body half backward so she's looking at Elda, though the vampire looks upside down to her. And that comment is immediately ignored.]
There you are. I thought I was going to have to pull a fire alarm to get you of your room.

[ Her voice is horse. Her face is ashen. She's clearly been crying. She's in one of Aligula's lolita dresses. ]
no subject
[Hoh, blood rush. Rin sits back up straight, breathing out in a slow stream through her mouth before turning around to better face Elda the old-fashioned way. The filing cabinet rattles a bit as she does so.]
...the dress looks nice on you. You should keep it.

[ Like, almost to a tee. Close to the same weight, basically the same figure. The complete same height. ]

[ She snarls. ]

[She bounces her foot again, somewhat agitated, and... Eying the bottle next to her? No, her gaze seems to stop just short of it, and lower than it's label.]
I still want to know.
no subject
Elda has no time for this shit. She's going to kick the filing cabinet Rin's on if she doesn't get off it or just clarify what she's getting it. Ooops? ]
no subject
Dammit, Elda!
no subject
[ . . . Nonsense...
Fuck dammit, Aligula. ]
no subject
I have something I want to give you, but I don't want to make you feel worse, you impatient vampire!

Relents. ]

... I'm furious at Aligula. There was no reason there. Nothing. Maybe she had one - I still think I'm right, but perhaps being callous is simply her nature. And Susan, she... she did her duty and died for it. That woman failed me, but there's- there's no helping that, is there.
no subject
She must be so tired.]
You can cuss and scream at them as much as you want, when we find a way to communicate with them. As much as you want and with all of your heart.
no subject
[ She suspects though, in her heart, that if it comes she'll just be grateful to say one more thing to them. ]

[And... Rin takes a couple steps closer. She seems to be considering a motion, only to rethink it. Instead she takes a letter from her sleeve, and presses it into the vampire's chest. Should she check the envelope, Elda will find it's still sealed, and addressed to her.
She'll probably recognize Susan's handwriting as well.]
1/2
[ Is her first thought, once she collects the document and notices the handwriting on the seal. But then she forces the air from her throat and she ... opens the letter, using her long nails as a letter-opener. She draws it out.. and reads ]
no subject
Yes.
She cries again, her hands tightening on it. Win.
Win this.
She folds the letter up with some surprising care, and she ... ah, this lolita dress doesn't have a convenient spot to put it she immediately recognizes. Well, she'll just shove it down her top for now, then. ]
no subject
[This is said quietly, and Rin trails off as Elda begins to read.
...If she hadn't opened it up right then and there, Rin probably would have left. If not the room, then just this storage closet. She probably wouldn't get further than the halls, even if she'd intend to. She's too concerned about Elda to leave her alone.
But that decision is made for her, when Elda doesn't even hesitate to open it in front of her. Rin backs up again... Towards the filing cabinet at first, before her foot touches the slick floor. Right, the brandy. She moves over to the opposite wall then, taking her glass back with her. It'll probably be finished by the time Elda has folded the note back up.
She wipes at her eyes, quickly. It's just the fumes, okay?]
no subject
[ the spilled brandy? Apparently, that's something that she's sort of apologizing for? Who knows, man. That said... ]
So what, you keep this up every week? This is clearly recent.
no subject
Though thinking of that, she's going to reach for what's left of her glass and gesture maybe they should leave the room. Elda has a more sensitive nose than her, after all.]
Mm. I've worked on letters since the second week. I tear them up every Wednesday, then start over.
no subject
[ But yes, please, let's get out of there. The spilled brandy is ... well, not too sharp, but it's still irksome. ]
