Week 9.
With another death to the timer and another double murder - accidental though that last part may have been - your numbers have been cut even further. Hibiki Ganaha, Sayaka Maizono, Alex, and Kyrie Ushiromiya are all dead, bringing those left alive from twelve down to eight. It's almost hard to believe this started with thirty-five people. There are so few of you now. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... It seems that the pattern from last week is holding; there is no new floor to occupy yourselves with. It doesn't seem much else has changed, either - leading to questions that are uncomfortable but must be confronted. Namely, where do you go from here? Is there anything you can do? |

[OOC: Welcome to week nine of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Coordinators, you can do so through private meetings with Hilda!]

That does seem easier, yes.
[ A beat and. ]
That's a horrifying power to exist, when you think about it.

[...actually, speaking of that. Rin Shuffles the papers in her hand a bit to reach for something in her pocket.]

{Rin still sounds disturbed about it, but Alex said she'd understand in a few years. Why would she want to understand.]

[ She sighs, sighing and shaking her head. ]

[ LIKE SHE KNOWS MAYBE ITS MAGIC ]

[Huff. But she has the thing she was searching out of her pockets now; it's a bundle of letters, actually. She flips through them until she finds the one with Elda's name on it.]
Speaking of Alex, she left this for you.

Her too.
[ Sayaka, Alex. Rin. Yuri. ]
Was I the only one who didn't write these things?

[ That punch wasn't that hard, was it? Elda blinks a little, but then sighs and just looks at the crumpled Alex-note in her hand. She...
... Mmm. ]

[But she's holding the arm a lot closer to herself now, like it did. Her tone isn't snappish; she's speaking quite slowly actually, in a low and measured tone.
Crouching back down, she reaches to collect the dropped letters.]

[ She hisses this out, not picking up the letters, but crouching down so that predatory eyes can lock with her once she's down here in a crouch near her. ]

Mostly because Elda is on the money, and while her arm does feel better than it did last Saturday, that light punch has pain shooting from her forearm to her fingers like hot knives. She moves carefully and deliberately, waiting for it to subside a little.]

[ She says with a hard gaze, still crouched here and makes to try to take up some of the papers herself, to straighten them out.
... Alex's stupid note is still in her hands. Ugh. ]

Chill out, it's just how it always is. I take medicine to manage the pain every day, but there's still flare ups sometimes.

[ Sorry??? ]

"Does your mood affect it?"
Her mouth snaps shut, and she looks to the side. Ah. Seems you hit the nail on the head, Elda.]
...Yeah. It's sensitive to even minor internal or external changes in the body. Usually I just have to be extra cautious when I'm stressed... but I let my guard down over the weekend and it got the better of me.
[She also forgot to take her medicine that morning, but normally it would have been fine. Friday morning was just crazy, and then she lost it on Luca after the trial.]

What a pain. Your arm punishes you for being upset?
no subject
You get used to it.
