Week 9.
With another death to the timer and another double murder - accidental though that last part may have been - your numbers have been cut even further. Hibiki Ganaha, Sayaka Maizono, Alex, and Kyrie Ushiromiya are all dead, bringing those left alive from twelve down to eight. It's almost hard to believe this started with thirty-five people. There are so few of you now. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; come Sunday morning, the clock chimes the hour at seven o'clock and there are no dead bodies to be found, so it can be assumed that all of you are safe for the time being. That said, you'll be feeling a little groggy when you wake up; it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... It seems that the pattern from last week is holding; there is no new floor to occupy yourselves with. It doesn't seem much else has changed, either - leading to questions that are uncomfortable but must be confronted. Namely, where do you go from here? Is there anything you can do? |

[OOC: Welcome to week nine of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Coordinators, you can do so through private meetings with Hilda!]

[ She laughs a little, spinning a hand in the air. ]
But then, she's a hero now, after a sort. And all that's left of the line.

[That sounds like something from those romance novels Luca has been turning his nose up towards.
Also, he totally missed his shot there, so he will back up from the table so Elda can go.]

[ She says this with some amusement as she makes to line up her shot carefully here... ]

[ Bam, shot! She manages to sink two there and not lose out. Nailed it. ]

Didn't the story of Achilles end in tragedy?
[And he's not even going to get into the Dracula thing, because Dracula was never a hero in the version he read.]

[ And... lining up her new shot here. She seems to be slow and deliberate about this, contrary to what you might expect from her personality.

[That girl has been through enough already.]

[ And... there!
Oh good, she sunk her third ball. Hah! Time to line up her new shot.
... this new position sucks though, no way she'll make it, mmm. ]

Do you think we will get happy endings?
[The eight of them left alive, at least. He hopes the others get one too, but reviving them may be impossible.]
no subject
[ She says it immediately, firmly. But then the minute she says it, she also starts to line up this shot and- ]
But I confess, I'm a poor person to ask.
no subject
Why?

I can't even consider failure - I refuse to. Remember when I was complaining about those letters people write? I've ... I've only ever written one, and I regret it still. So if you ask me if we'll win, of course I'll say yes. I'll go on thinking it even as my head's being lopped off. I'll make sure to break their ax.

... I made that clear when I apologized.
no subject
Aah, you did, yes.
[But it's his turn now, so he surveys the table for a bit, trying to decide on the best shot.]
Does that courtesy extend to family members? Or will I have to introduce you to Giovanni first before you decide on that?

I'm still so uncertain about them. ... Not if it means we won't rescue them, but about why their ghosts aren't about here. Have none died, or are they apart even there? James must be dead by now.
[ Maybe if she keeps saying that, it'll hurt less. ]
no subject
[About as much of a chance as any of the ghosts here, but that's still a chance.
Also Luca is deliberately not thinking about the possibility that his son might be dead. He's not ready to face that thought yet.]
no subject
[ She hums ]
Based on the notes I took at that meeting, I suspect James is dead and then Tarrlok's man is either dead or leading them. Your son's almost definitely alive, and as for Rin's father... I'm torn as to if he's being useful or would have been taken out.

Though I am curious, why do you think your husband would be dead already?
no subject
[ Mmm. ] He died for his gentleness before. Either he'll have trusted someone he ought not have, or more likely he'll have protected someone and paid for it.
