RESISTANCE MEETING

[The clock chimes at 10PM as it always does, and if you're one of the people who decided to go to the meeting, you'll find the conference room is properly set up to accommodate all 27 remaining students. If you were expecting refreshments or anything then tough luck. Logan can't cook and the kitchen's closed now.

Logan has taken the chair at one end of the table because of course he has, but he'll wait until most people are gathered before speaking up.]

I'm sure you're all aware of why this meeting is absolutely necessary after that... announcement. What we need to do is share any information we have about this place and our captor. The Conductor will answer letters, but I have not gotten anything particularly useful from him.

...Well, let me just put it this way --- I feel a hell of a lot better here than I remember feeling then. Something must've happened that cured me between then and now... especially since I actually feel even better than how I remember feeling "immediately" before I woke up here.

I see. That's certainly convincing evidence.

I suppose there's the slight possibility that the Conductor's responsible, but given that people have woken up with injuries they don't remember... well, I'm not going to assume that the Conductor favored me for some reason.

It makes sense. He wouldn't have gone out of his way for any of us, I don't think.

I wouldn't necessarily be opposed if he did something nice for me, but I'd certainly be a little confused about it. Am I just his type...?

Who knows what his type is? I still haven't figured that out.

...For all we know, in some sort of roundabout way, we might all be his type.

That's an incredibly disturbing thought, given some of us.

Well... there's no accounting for taste, I guess. You can find someone interesting without necessarily liking them...

To be fair, that could be said about literally everything involved in this situation.

Well, I can't say what I really think about it, as I prefer to avoid crude language and there are some instances where you just can't if you want to be accurate.
