Initiative.
Rachel looks a bit conflicted about what should happen from here; Lisbeth is still on the floor, but she's told her what she should do, and so... Well, she's never really been good at saying no, though she does walk up and reach out to pet Lisbeth's hair gingerly for a moment before turning to everyone else. "We should leave." And with that, the courtroom changes, all at once; it was one thing, and then quite simply it isn't, and the podium circle has been replaced with a round spread of consoles wrapping around a center spire. The room is no longer concrete and steel, but rather stark white, all done up in glossy tile that looks like it'd crack if you hit it hard enough with something – that said, it's not recommended to try, given that it's just as indestructible as everything else in the building. Rachel approaches the consoles, reaching out to touch them, fingers tapping gently against several of the unmarked buttons; it's probably not precisely necessary for her to do so, given the state of things, but she seems to like doing it, so do it she shall. There are a pair of slots that look like keycards are required; she glances at them for a second before manipulating more buttons, causing a small panel to open up in front of her – it looks like an authorization mechanism of some sort, the kind that you press your hand against to get it to recognize you. "It's going to be a bit jarring when you wake up; sorry about that, but you've been asleep for a really long time. I'd suggest giving it a moment." She pauses, though, once that's out there, glancing back at everyone. "I'll be on the other side with you, but not like this. We can still talk, though, if you like." And with that she just turns and presses her hand against the panel without waiting for an answer; the next thing you're aware of is the flash. |

This isn't suited, really, for how their relationship has gone.
But she simply missed her so much, and she's laughing as she does it. ]
no subject
Elda! [Susan laughs a little, too.] You did so well!
no subject
[ She's laughing too hard for that to be too coherent, oops? But all the same, yeah, she's getting closer and hugging her tightly, rocking a little. ]
no subject
You won! I knew you could win!
no subject
[ HAHAHA... HAHA.
... God she missed her. ]
no subject
[so THERE]
God, I'm almost glad I didn't have to deal with that? I haven't got the patience. [you and she both know that she would have been a lot more out for blood.]
no subject
[ But all the same... yeah, she's sure Susan would have lost her temper worse than Elda did at some point of another.
The hug tightens, her nails dig in just a bit to the fabric. ]
no subject
[Susan squeezes back tighter as well, though she's nowhere near as strong as Elda. Ah, this is...this is really nice, isn't it?]
Apparently I just solve these things with swords on fire, though.
no subject
[ Still, that's- ]
That really did sound impressive, Susan!
[ Hahaha. ]

It was fun to hear. I mean, I'm not going to stab him now - unless he decides he's going to do one of these himself. [but for all that she doesn't care for Kimblee, she doesn't sound like she considers that a serious possibility]
no subject
[ But it's said with good humor. She's smiling up at her friend, her own grin just as big and goofy, if she's honest. ]
no subject
[cats playing with their prey and all
But she’ll give Elda another quick squeeze on seeing that smile]
Well, that's all right. Sayaka's the one that matters. She's really excited to go home with you, you know.
no subject
[ And then Lisbeth asked her not to or they'd be deleted. But... but she colors a little at that, her cheeks tinging. Ah, is she? good. Good. ]
I've been... [ She's been so much a mess since Sayaka died. That promise, both to them at the ouija board and the one made to Kyrie... that and Rin is really all that kept her going at that point. ] I've been planning all of that out in my head for a while.
no subject
[On either end, really, that was a stressful thing to watch with absolutely no way to intervene on any level.]
...yeah. Yeah, I thought you might have been. [.....] Aligula and I had a go at Kyrie when she showed up. It was the first time we'd spoken for a week.
no subject
... I am sorry, that I did not keep you safe in the end. And that it was Aligula.
[ Another friend of hers.
... She is glad they had it out for Ushiromiya, though. ]
no subject
[Angel. What would she have done if it had been true?
Susan's still not really sure how she feels about people - her friends - still being close to Aligula after that. She hasn't had to face it much, really.]
no subject
... You were - are - both my friends. That as a dark day, and I am so sorry you didn't see the finish line with us. You- deserved to.
[ A lot of them did. ]
no subject
Yeah, well. It happens, you know? Especially to me. Death doesn’t keep me down for all that long.
[She can't even think how to address the rest of it, about Aligula. She can't say it's really okay, but...she's not sure she wants to say it isn't either. She can't just dictate other people's feelings, and she knows full well that she's one of the only people here who isn't particularly attached to any of their local murderers.]
no subject
But... ]
You've said, yes. But... it's still too cruel, at least if you ask me.
