Initiative.
Rachel looks a bit conflicted about what should happen from here; Lisbeth is still on the floor, but she's told her what she should do, and so... Well, she's never really been good at saying no, though she does walk up and reach out to pet Lisbeth's hair gingerly for a moment before turning to everyone else. "We should leave." And with that, the courtroom changes, all at once; it was one thing, and then quite simply it isn't, and the podium circle has been replaced with a round spread of consoles wrapping around a center spire. The room is no longer concrete and steel, but rather stark white, all done up in glossy tile that looks like it'd crack if you hit it hard enough with something – that said, it's not recommended to try, given that it's just as indestructible as everything else in the building. Rachel approaches the consoles, reaching out to touch them, fingers tapping gently against several of the unmarked buttons; it's probably not precisely necessary for her to do so, given the state of things, but she seems to like doing it, so do it she shall. There are a pair of slots that look like keycards are required; she glances at them for a second before manipulating more buttons, causing a small panel to open up in front of her – it looks like an authorization mechanism of some sort, the kind that you press your hand against to get it to recognize you. "It's going to be a bit jarring when you wake up; sorry about that, but you've been asleep for a really long time. I'd suggest giving it a moment." She pauses, though, once that's out there, glancing back at everyone. "I'll be on the other side with you, but not like this. We can still talk, though, if you like." And with that she just turns and presses her hand against the panel without waiting for an answer; the next thing you're aware of is the flash. |

Uh-huh. That why you were insistent during my trial? [ Yeah, let's talk about this. It actually still bugs him a bit. ]
no subject
Okay then. ]
...Well, most of it happened to deal with the fact that there were only a few people who knew how to mix solvents and I knew it sure as hell wasn't Rideaux. Not because I'm biased or anything but he doesn't go around sayin' 'fuck' a lot and wouldn't take the time to practically burn the damn words into the floor.
[ Okay that was his bias speaking (and also admittedly his knowledge of how Terumi works for the latter part) and his biases have never lead him wrongfully, so...!! ]

[ Really. Is this where he screwed up. ]

The chemical thing too -- I mentioned that, remember? After you made it obvious you knew how to work with those things. Also the whole 'you could kick' as well, what with that scuff mark happening so high up.
[ But the whole FUCK JERICHO did. Seal the deal. SO. As you do... ]

You know Mikoto killed the camera girl, right? Had nothing to do with her, wouldn't have carried her ass all around the building for no damn reason.
no subject
I figured it out near the end of the trial.
[ Right when he pointed out Mikoto was Terumi's partner. He's not a dumbass, you know... ]
So, why're we talking about this crap again? Did you wanna make sure I got that or...?
no subject
Cause I made a freakin mistake, should have killed you instead of Archie. Everyone else was happy to just dance around the issue and not keep bitching at me like you did.
[ Or maybe they would have still gotten him, but left Mikoto alone. That would have been fine too. ]
no subject
Heh, wow. Did you think that when you went over to the other side?
[ He smirks. He's actually kind of a little amused at that? He...was the reason Terumi was caught, huh. ]
...Though if you had killed me and you two got away with it, Lisbeth would've just killed the both of you before resetting everything.
no subject
With all of her time and self-righteous bullshit, yeah. She basically was trying to do what I did in my world, she just fucking sucked at it.
no subject
[ Sorry not sorry for that derail he just needs to get in one more potshot; listen he's happy they're all here alive but that was some shit, ok. ]
... But, say, why were you trying to reset your world? Some cataclysm happen there too?
no subject
Not resetting, but fixing what the fuck was wrong with it. My sister reset my world constantly, and I was tired of it, you know?
[ It's really a good thing he wasn't alive for all of that, it kinda hit too close to home. ]
no subject
[ ... Yeah, Yuri could only imagine it ending badly, uh. ]
Looks like people trying to have things 'reset' isn't a novel idea. Though, you'd think after however many times it'd become obvious to them that it's not going to help net any successful results with fixing anything.
[ Honestly, sometimes having a lot of determination isn't so good, depending on what it involves. ]

[ If he sounds like he has experience, it's because he does. ]
no subject
Sounds like just a colossal pain in the ass to me.

[ He never wants to see her again, the end. ]
