RESISTANCE MEETING 2: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO
[Like last week, the conference room is set up with enough chairs for everyone (two less than last week) but there isn't any food provided because of the uh... dinner party. Hopefully that didn't go so poorly that the entire group has been split or anything, that would certainly suck.
But once again it's time to discuss the state of things here. Logan's in the same seat he was last time at one end of the table. He's particularly distracted today and he can't seem to focus on that book he's been carrying around, so he'll start things a little earlier today.]
As I'm sure you all know, this week's incentive could easily motivate someone to attempt to murder someone. We need to discuss the state of things here - has anyone found anything since the last meeting? Nighttime patrols have been discussed and I believe Giovanni was handling that. Do we have any other ideas for how we could prevent any more deaths?
(OOC: Like last time, treat this post like a trial - threadjack and go crazy!)

Uh... I found out a few things. There's...seven floors to this place. According to the Conductor, he doesn't watch us when we're...changing clothes, or in the shower or other...private moments. [So that must be reassuring, Morty.]
Oh, uh...and... He thinks the person who brought us here, the one who kidnapped us- ...he said he's best described as, uh, God.

Power is relative, power like that of a god even more so. Having the ability to cross worlds and erase memories doesn't make one some grand deity.
And if they aren't the god they're believed to be, then they can be destroyed.

But that confirms it, doesn't it? This guy's not working on his own. He's working for someone else...]
What kind of God? Did he tell you anything else?
no subject
About this? No. I asked about the person who brought us here and I had to ask again to even get confirmation on what the Conductor thinks he is. I can try asking again.

[Seeing that he seems to actually like you and answer your questions or something-]
"What happens when we reach the last floor?"

The point is, he didn't bring us here. He talks about old coworkers, and...the ones that are "more recent," I think he said? They're people you don't trouble unless necessary. That's...I think all I've been able to get about that subject.

[ And he's not even going to touch the whole coworker thing yet. ]

In any case, he was clear on it being one...being, or whatever, who brought us here. I think, at least.

[Hibiki's mouth is open, shocked. She...feels pretty damn useless right now.]
He told me he really doesn't like lying...is it really all true?
no subject
[She also. Thinks he might be starting to come to like her, if her returned ring is any indication. Instead of puffing up with pride, Ashley kind of sinks into the parka even more.]
I...I don't think he's lying. Everything he's written back seems to line up.

[She sighs! Again, she feels like the stupid one in the room.]
...What do ya think about that new rule, Ashley? The one about confidentiality. We're not gettin' in trouble when we talk about this stuff, are we?

Does this mean the psycho expects five more murders?
[She's focusing on one thing at a time here.]

...I don't know what he's plannin' to do once they're all open, but we can't let it happen.
