RESISTANCE MEETING 2: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO

[Like last week, the conference room is set up with enough chairs for everyone (two less than last week) but there isn't any food provided because of the uh... dinner party. Hopefully that didn't go so poorly that the entire group has been split or anything, that would certainly suck.

But once again it's time to discuss the state of things here. Logan's in the same seat he was last time at one end of the table. He's particularly distracted today and he can't seem to focus on that book he's been carrying around, so he'll start things a little earlier today.]

As I'm sure you all know, this week's incentive could easily motivate someone to attempt to murder someone. We need to discuss the state of things here - has anyone found anything since the last meeting? Nighttime patrols have been discussed and I believe Giovanni was handling that. Do we have any other ideas for how we could prevent any more deaths?

(OOC: Like last time, treat this post like a trial - threadjack and go crazy!)

Did he--?!

[That highly offended unfinished question sounded like something Dio was asking himself more than the others, but he quickly stopped himself. Suddenly looking thoughtful, he spoke half under his breath.]

...Some kind of technology to grant limited immortality...if it works, where could he have gotten that power from?

Uh, like. You just implant a bunch of nanobots in someone. That's, like, the easiest because every science-y type has those lying around.

[seriously don't question comics.]
midnightsea: (oh we will pray it's all right)

What in the hell is a nanobot.

It's like a suuuuuper small robot that can, like, go in your blood or whatever.

[Duh, Dio.]
midnightsea: (oh don't you see what i mean)

[personal profile] midnightsea 2015-11-19 03:10 am (UTC)(link)
That raises more questions than it answers, not the least of which is 'what is a robot'.
zomgboom: (what are you saying?)

[think, think, think.]

Do you, like, have golems? Or, like, magical things that move on their own? Like that, but metal.
midnightsea: (oh don't you see what i mean)

No, but I can at least understand the concept.

[luckily]

So you're telling me enough of them on a small scale can make someone effectively immortal?
zomgboom: (say something interesting)

[personal profile] zomgboom 2015-11-19 03:18 am (UTC)(link)
Basically. Like, if you make them really small they can basically repair anything in your body forever . . . until they break down. So, like, if he just had bad nanotech, it'd probably only work once or whatever. Really lame, honestly, my world has way better tech on the black market.
